Nani scored 6 goals already this season and 3 of them in CL. He is having excellent run, hopefully we get confident Nani back in the team.

Agree mate. Have watched then a lot this season, first few games was a bit meh. But since then and a good run he has been like Nani of old and defo has his swagger back. Beating people the tricks, assists the lot. Will be good to get him back, and means we could spend money elsewhere.

Van Persie may well be getting his goal-scoring touch back but Wilson would fit the system much better in general. Won't believe it until I see it though.

Mata? Fellaini?
It's Palace, you need some strenght to face them, either Fellaini or Carrick at least.

Falcao's injuries are a worry, I'll say it again just to bore everyone, despite how good he can be... he hasn't yet shown it at United and for £44m when he's 29, is just too much and a big gamble.

Our defence will give Palace confidence, it will be a difficult game knowing that Valencia who isn't a RB, Blackett - who is still very inexperienced and prone to mistakes, Carrick - isn't a natural CB, is all part of our lineup. Also why is Blackett starting instead of McNair? Why is McNair who's done well not going to start tomorrow over them, I don't get it, for me he's much better and more composed than Blackett.

I can't see Van Gaal dropping RVP tomorrow either, but I'd love to see Wilson get a decent opportunity.

Mata for who?
Carrick is playing CB, Herrera isn't weak either. Lets not forget we're at home and Jedinak is suspended for Palace.

Van Gaal likes balance of left foot/right foot. Plus Blackett was ahead of McNair before the season started in the pecking order, so I don't see why he wouldn't be now.

Falcao is 28.

Because McNair looked so composed and didn't barely put a foot wrong in both games he played, whereas Blackett made quite a few mistakes in the last few games he played.

I'd even start McNair over Carrick if we're going for the whole right foot, left foot reason again. At least he's a natural CB.

Blackett was very good in his games, bar the red card against Leicester.

If you play McNair AND Blackett our defence will be a right winger and 3 teenagers. Need some experience to lead the defence.

EDIT: Let's not forget that most fans were baffled at why McNair was being picked over Tom Thorpe initially. Not as good as Thorpe, who I think is better than both McNair and Blackett personally.

Err... that was quite costly... considering how that game turned out.

I'd start McNair over Blackett, but that's just me, he looked better and more composed, I have more faith in McNair. The right foot, left foot thing is a bit O.T.T if you ask me, I'd rather have the better defender who is right footed, rather than the left footed defender who isn't as good.

That's neither here nor there now though, based on what we seen of him when he played, he was outstanding and defended well, against West Ham we were well under the pressure and he was really composed.

Sometimes players step up to the plate when given an opportunity, he did, so he deserves to be picked again.

Erm it wasn't really considering his red card came when we were 4-3 down in the final minutes. He conceded the pen that made it 5-3 so the game was already gone.

Blackett was arguably our better CB at the start of the season along with Phil Jones.

If it's made permanent in the summer he'll be 29. Do we want to rish and ***** £44m on a 29 year old?
See it this way, you're paying 44m for a ******* Falcao and he'll probably sign 4 or 5 year deal. I would pay 11m per year to have him on my team. And player like him can easily play till he's 32 or 33 on high level, if he can stay fit.

I don't think we have the same Falcao now as when he was at his peak like for Atletico. Him staying fit and injury-free is part of the whole problem, if he does and returns to his best then of course it's worth it, but right now I just think there is more questions than answers.

I would like to see if he can stay fit. I have no doubt he'll return strong as ever if he manage that.

We don't i'm not sure why everyone can't see this, sure he is still a very good striker but far from what he was during his porto and atleti days.

Just like RVP isn't the same player that signed or the one who had that great season at arsenal.
