We haven't played well all season tbf, just somehow gotten the results.

Looked good against a rubbish newcastle side, **** qpr team and leicester who battered us but we played good football.

Can't think of any other performances that stand out.

That wasn't really our 1st team against mk Dons. So yes this is our worst performance of the season. At home, 1 maybe 2 shots on target and their keeper had probably his quietest game of the season.

Thats rubbish. Southampton also don't have any European commitments and they are higher than you. Plus they haven't spend millions in the transfer market as well

Liverpool weren't in the CL last season and finished 2nd

I agree, it's people sugarcoating the fact we have looked poor and now the results might begin to show this.

And i'm not wrong in anyway in thinking arsenal and southampton will get 3rd and 4th, that's just my opinion.

I don't think anyone is happy with the result. Nobody has said they are happy. We just aren't crying and calling for our manager to be sacked. We are accepting the fact that we played badly vs 3rd place team with the best defense in the league.

Gotta say Koeman is fantastic, manager of the year.

Koeman, Pep, Carlo, Simeone are excellent managers when it comes to organizing the team (ignore Carlo's madrid as it's impossible to organize them) and there is one things that connects them all.

They are defensive midfield players.

Needless to say, a lot of the problems we know of now could of been solved last summer, the luxury signing of Falcao shadowed a lot of it, but the glaring lack of a quality CB and FB was obvious then, just as it is now.

Our best potential fullback Varela sold to Real Madrid. Great stuff.

We just aren't suited to the **** system of 3 at the back. We don't have the understanding or the dynamism required for it :\ And today was a pathetic performance, no doubt about it. It doesn't matter if you have the best attackers in the world if you can't provide proper chances for them (or them not putting it in). But god, 3 at the back is a total disaster.

Also, there is absolutely no ****** justification for that performance. At OT, we should be beating Southampton comfortably. Or atleast, dominate the game.
