Smalling was excellent, he was very good on the ball. Herrera too, what a tidy midfielder we have and we wasted him on the bench for half season.

Young is completely different player this season, full of confidence. And for a change Januzaj was good too.

Smallng should start ahead of Jones every time! Think Herrera will start more often than not now had a lot going on early on off and on field. LVG finally looks to have realised how important he is to our play. Love the little Fella:) Januzaj hope to see him kick on now, his decision making and willing to take on the FB was great today.
 
Tbh Januzaj was anonymous until red card opened up space. He ran the show after that though.

He received ball 3 times before that red card, resulting in one corner and one successful dribble with unsuccessful cross. Have no idea why United focused so hard on that left side of the field.

Except, you know, he was completely atrocious entire game, scored one from the penalty and the other from rebound that literally hit him in the head in front of open goal.

But of course, its 2 goals, so the "Rooney is being wasted in midfield" rararabullshit has already started.

Sorry I don't agree Rooney can be a good player in CM and lots of bright people in football think the same.
 
Just watching the game again. That bit of play by Falcao was out of this world shows he still has the class at top level just needs to show it more and get fully fit. Like thousands of posts and fancams and what not have said today yes his touch has been poor. But he is working hard and has no service what so ever was wrong to take him off afterwards today.
