Been quality this season and Lazio paid more than 8m altogether. Don't think its pure rumour its been well known in Holland/Italian press that we have been scouting him and Anderson from Lazio for a few weeks.

Lots German media saying that De Bruyne is Bayerns main target in a 40m euro bid. To replace Ribbery and Robben.
 
Was bound to happen, both are old and injury prone , and for how much work Pep has put into making them play possession style, the whole team depends so much on Robben's dribbling to break defenses.

Just reading that Malachians guy tweets and club already started contract talks with Smalling as well. Arsenal can **** off they got no where in the summer and will so this summer. Bild done another big story today about Himmels to Utd, looks like could be another done dealio. Think that's 4 articles now in 7 days and 2 in 2 days.

Didn't someone report that we have 3 deals already done? Maybe Hummels is one of them.

My thinking, we have deals pretty much done for a rb, cb and winger/forward and that is why there is talk even from LVG himself ithink about him wanting a proper CM and that will be our main focus unless of course someone becomes available we couldn't say no to.
 
Hopefully we don't change much, 5 or 6 new signings (first team signings) mean we have to start everything from the scratch again.

5 or 6 is probably too much atm unless one of them is a youngster but first team wise, think 3 or 4 is needed depending on whether we continue with wayne as the number 9 and if mata/young stay in form but even then i'd still like depay tbh as we'll probably need more wide players throughout a full season with the current formation.

Mata's performance is not just about form, he has plenty of ability and luckily Van Gaal has found the way to play him and Herrera.

For wide players we have Di Maria, Mata, Januzaj and Nani is coming back. We have young too and by the rumors we are signing Depay. So not bad options at all.

I would love to see one more very good CB who is upgrade on what we have, and Schneiderlin.

Also Rooney should play as #9, no question about it. Hopefully Van Gaal doesn't compromise team's balance and starts with RVP.

Think we defo need a 3 first teamers and a couple of youth prospects around 18-21. Then we will be challenging on all fronts. Cant see many leaving either.

I agree with most of that! Defo need a RB if Rafa goes Clyne most likely. And can see us going all out for a top CM and spending big on that position. Clyne,Depay,Hummels, a top CM and a young STR would be perfect for the summer imo. Then move out maybe Evans,Rafa,Lindergaard,Amos and loan out McNair,Blackett,Powell,Pereira.
 
Does anybody think Nani will come back a better player and will take to LVG's tactics/philosopy or has he used all his chances now? If sporting come in with a decent offer I think he might be allowed to leave.
 
Wilson needs to go on loan to a Premiership team next season or a top Championship club where he will be a regular starter, if he isnt going to be used by us much. Putting him in the U21-s every week is pointless. The kid needs to play at a decent level. Bolton might even take him depending on what happens with Heskey and Gudjonsson.
