LFC Statement:
"We are disappointed with the FA's decision to ban Martin Skrtel of Liverpool Football Club for a 'deliberate' stamp on an opponent this past Sunday. Martin himself has a grandfather who was a circus clown, with a family history of abnormally large feet. Martin's condition often results in him grabbing shirts, pushing opponents, and stepping on others as he struggles to maintain his balance. He has shared a family portrait on Instagram to express his sadness at the decision of the FA, who clearly do not appreciate the plight of clowns. Liverpool Football Club counts many clowns among its players and supporters who may slip or stamp but will never walk alone." :P :)
Quality :D

class made my day

I was thinking this morning about strikers United is linked with, Dybala, Lacazette and Vietto. Dybala is really technical, speedy player with great technique. His finishing could use some polishing, but his movement and quick turns are really pleasing to watch. Lacazette strikes as perfect striker for BPL teams. Strong, plenty of pace with good finishing. He has decent leap and decent link up. Nothing like Vietto or Dybala, but decent enough. Good ball control when running with the ball and has some tricks in his bag. Vietto is little underwhelming for me personally. He's technical enough, good finishing, good movement but doesn't strike me as fast as two before. Not convinced on him. Dybala would be bigger gamble, but IMO could be better striker than Lacazette if things clicks.

What do you guys think about that RVP being in top 5 earners of last year's football?

I think there'll be four first team signings. Clyne at right-back, a centre-back, a striker and Depay to rotate in on the wing. If Di Maria goes then we'll probably sign another first-team winger too.

I think it's incredibly fishy considering he didn't appear at all in the previous year's addition but is now suddenly fifth in the world.....

It’s not just the first-team players pulling out the tricks and fancy footwork - check out U18s star Callum Gribbin flying past his opponents last week! Watch more: http://bit.ly/1OyPOYx

There is no way he is in top 5. Most of the papers dont even know the difference between gross and net pay.

Ibra, Thiago Silva, Falcao, Ronaldo, Messi are easily at top and then are plenty of Madrid and Barca players like Neymar, Bale who are paid **** loads.

Also it's total earnings from all the sponsorship deal and all that, so maybe possible as ManUtd are a marketing machine.

That top 5 includes sponsership deals, and RVP scored a great goal in a great run for the team at the world cup, That will factor in massively, its not jsut his wages in the lsit. Not there last year, stars at World Cup, images and memes everywhere.. theres your answer.

Players don't make money from meme's.. They've listed all his sponsorships etc. Still no way it takes him from not on the list to Top 5.

Marketing exposure = $$$

Aside from David Luis crying RVP's pic and name was everywhere after and during the world cup, might not taking him into the Top 5 in our eyes but it accounts for the from nowhere to near the top of the list in the short time.
