Terrible performance, we're not scoring enough goals to give away cheap goals and it proved costly. Although it's not all on them because Romero is a ****** liability at the back.

I think Firminho will be much more of a threat aswell playing in behind now Coutinho is banned. They should take note from today. Get Lallana and Ibe on the wings putting crosses in for Benteke.

Oh, without question. And ala Rojo, God willing Lovren won't even be on the bench.

And I aren't for one minute going to even dare predict that game for the simple fact we never get any luck regardless against Utd. That just is what it is and has been for decades.

But I'd be just as worried about either opponent were I either a Utd or Liverpool fan.

Yeah, was just talking about the same earlier to a few mates. If he plays it right, Phil won't be as badly missed as many fear.

Rooney had another **** game, but it was nothing compared to Memphis. The amount of times he easily gave the ball away was off the charts. Absolutely terrible, Stephen Hawking would do better.

Unless some transfers are still to come, Van Gaal needs to go back to how he started the season. Memphis as #10, Young on the left. You cant' be playing with two inside forwards on the wings and pair them with two full backs who couldn't cross over a cat.

Really?! You dont think Blind - in the first time this year we faced a competent attack was quite poor? I thought he obviously was. And he was off position in the Gomis goal forcing Smalling to cover for both.

And Romero wtf?! That was a ridiculous way to let in a goal.
 
On the plus side after this weekend's mess we both now have two weeks to work on our respective problems and (hopefully) make adjustments.

We won't play much different, Van gaal is all about possession but with that said we can still score 3 or 4 on our day. If we're playing brugge that is.

Tbh the press already linked them to almost every player on the planet, so they have to cook up new ones to mantain the illusion of reliability.
