The Manchester United Thread

Yeah but that doesn't comfort me because we should have signed him anyway, imo. Not wanting Pedro is madness in itself.

Absolutely. Pedro at Utd would NOT of been good.

Pedro at Chelsea is bad enough.

With the **** poor standard of defending in this league, he'll be devastating.

Some rumours now cropping up about N'Kolou as well..... this transfer window... I'm speechless.

Well at least the next 24 hours won't be boring!

I'm confused, if the majority of European leagues close today like France and Spain does that mean we can't buy players from them tomorrow because their window is shut?

So we only have today technically to do foreign business?

Lindegaard off to West Brom, so De Gea staying if logic is anythiing to go by.

no just means foreign clubs cannot buy, can still sell.

No it means we can buy, but after their deadline they can only sell to a club whose window is open. The deadline matters to the buying side.

The problem Madrid have is that Navas doesn;t want to leave, and is really really popular. Put it this way: Madrid win 5-0, and guess whose name they chanted all the way through?

Tyton that is horrific, removed.
At least use Duncan from the IT crowd jumping out the window

Will this signing even solve any of our immediate problems? From what people have been saying they are mostly shocked in France at how much we are paying for him and there is no doubting that he's more one for the future.

To be honest I never really like to believe a fee these days because media like to exaggerate and didn't it turn out that in the end Schweinsteiger was only like £6.5m?

He is incredibly quick and composed, and a good finisher. Excellent movement and close control. Plays upfront, behind the striker, and wide. Stretches play a lot. He's also only play 60 games in his first team career. The issue isnt buying him, but rather you should be looking at someone with 160 under their belt
