The Manchester United Thread

Probably not but it's interesting. Canal+ initially reported the same fee as the BBC etc (£36m) but apparently Monaco confirmed it with them that the fee is in fact €80m.

Monaco havent said anything directly. Neither have United bar to reporters that its £36m

You won't find out accurately for a while.

Oh and the DDG/Navas deal might not happen in time.

Where did you see this? I know this was reported earlier today but since then everyone seems to think it is pretty much done as all parties have agreed.

Parties have agreed. Paperwork isn't done. and they have 40 minutes.

Le Equipe was the one first out with 80 mil euros. Truth might be somewhere in the middle or maybe even that, but with installments which some might never realize.

Monaco also owe Lyon 25% percent of the fee so no point for them to sell at this late hour without huge offer.

That, I suspect where add-ons will come in. Monaco will want to cover than, United probably wont pay that out right.

be interesting to see if he is offered a 5 year contract up front. That will tell you a bit more about the price.

There is a reason the £59m KDB has a six year contract.

He also tweeted this recently...

"Who is saying Griezmann could go to Manchester United? No chance. There never was one."

Funny thing is: no one said anything about Griezmann to United. It's Griezmann's own tweet that has everyone stirring

Griezmanns publicist said that cryptic tweet has nothing to do with transfers and he's happy in Madrid.

God we better pull someone else out of the bag or else this attack is going to look so frail with an injury or two it's almost scary.

i think the navas deal is a great peace of business i quite like him and de gea was on last year of contract regarding martial remember fergie paid big alot of times for potential to be world class youth thats what set him apart from wenger who penny pinched for bargain youths only... he could be an expensive flop but then again he could set the world alight like ronaldo did :)

If I was superstar footballer I'd totally just **** with gullible people on Twitter every day.

"Hey , here's a picture of me playing Real Madrid on FIFA"
"Breaking news, Tyton to Real Madrid confirmed".
