Couldn't care less if it's 3 points. Everyone knows this game isn't as big as it used to be and the hype is only to draw viewers for more money.

Darmain is Gary Neville, and Blind has been excellend at CB today, at both ends.

More goals from open play with regularity, and we will be insane. Everything else has come together, it's the lack of conviction when there are chances that hurts us. Set-pieces and penalties cannot be our bread and butter.

But otherwise, wow wow wow Anthony Martial. Good on him to get a debut goal, will boost his confidence for sure. Entire defence deserves a round of applause, Schweinsteiger bossed it, Young made a huge difference.
 
I've been saying all along that Young needs to start. Deepay is useless on the left unfortunately, either play him as #10 or bench him.
 
Shaw was brilliant, Blind and Schweinsteiger were very very good.. Young introduction changed the game.

Liverpool were very poor. Defended all game and tried for 0-0 but we should have tried differently instead of trying to open space with passing.

Oh and what a way to make your debut and score a fantastic goal against Liverpool infront of stretford end (If I'm not wrong). Also De Gea made 2 fantastic saves and it's great to have him back.

The tactics were very strange indeed.

The line-up suggested a potential diamond but a 4-3-3 was played with players out of position and Benteke isolated yet again. I'm not one to criticise Rodgers but he got it wrong today

Yeah Benteke was isolated and had no support at all. Ings as LW? That would never work.
