What is Rooney doing on the pitch... any other player would have been, SHOULD have been dropped by now. He is just useless, and his final ball is diabolical.

Wonderful pass by Blind.

But I was really under-whelmed with what we offered up to that point, where is our tempo? Rooney drops deep far too often, we don't need him to when we have players like Schneiderlin and Carrick on the pitch.

Martial great work beating two men and feeding Rooney his goal. Would say I'm happy for Rooney to get his goal but he doesn't really deserve it as this is a gloss over his performance which again has been very average.

Well wasn't that typical Louis Van Grind performance. Long periods of possession with nothing happening whatsoever, two half-assed goals completely out of nowhere, and game over.

Rooney wasn't bad in the second half though.

Top of the league after 28 months. Ah, I missed this feeling badly.

Yeh but so many wins happen like that under LVG it would be naive to think it wasn't intentional.

It really reminds me of Fergie era when we were grinding out the results a lot of the time without really looking like we're playing well.

All in all though, 3-0 and top of the league, speaks for itself.

Another great display by Martial I thought, great assist and played well in general.

Martial was great again, played the lone striker role to perfection. Had 1 assist, should have had 2.

Early days but looks like Blind at CB is a masterstroke. His passing from deep is class.

Yeah, but its so weird.

Against teams where you're expected to win, he plays so conservatively.

But in the big games, he goes for the kill. I can't wrap my head around that.

Yeah, away games he goes with Bastian and Herrera and for home games Carrick and Schneiderlin.

Looks poor decision but for him it's working for now.

Against teams like Sunderland at home we should be playing Herrera to open up space.

I'm guessing those two are going to start vs Wolfsburg though

Pointless stab in the dark and if everyone is fit etc etc.

Herrera/Bastian vs Wolfsburg.
Carrick/Morgan vs Arsenal.
Morgan/Bastian vs Everton
Carrick + one vs City.

Wouldn't mind herrera in the number 10 against any of those but he won't drop his boy wayne will he. No chance he'll put herrera in a midifled two vs arsenal, everton or city.
