The Manchester United Thread

I think we'll smash them @ Old trafford

I think you're doing a very dangerous, pacey side a disservice.

I wouldn't like to call that. I thought the Wolfsburg game last time would of been more fitting to end level, and I wouldn't be surprised to see CSKA being as dangerous on the counter.

CSKA have really improved, sure they're top when I last checked when I did GW2 preview, Doumbia is good but I am sure if memory serves me well it is his strike partner whos name escapes me who is top scorer.

So far in the group, every home team had won. For us to get a point away from home and against good opponents, it's a good result.

Can't see past United for the derby. City have good players but missing Silva and Aguero will be a big loss.

After Manchester United boss Louis van Gaal said making teams play during the winter was “evil,” Wenger said they must try to keep the tradition alive.

"I have a lot of respect for Louis Van Gaal, but I don’t agree with him on that.

Maybe I have been in England such a long time and had the same ideas as him when I first came.

I would cry if you changed that. It is part of English tradition and English football.

The whole of Europe come to watch football on Boxing Day. It is an important part for us to being popular in the world. At Christmas, nobody works in the world and everybody watches the Premier League."

Van Gaal always seems to exude confidence in his side, but this weekend, he believes City are the favorites.

"When you look at the facts, they are first and we are third.

There’s goal difference, points difference – they are first, so they are the favorites I think.

We have one day less [to prepare than Manchester City] but we have to do it and that’s what we’re doing. We hope we can beat City."

Keylor Navas has been beastly for real madrid so far...

Quite happy for him and Us in that regard as it would mean real won't be bothering de gea for a long while

If DDG has a reasonable release clause in his new contract then I can see them getting him anyway. As good as Navas is, I dont think he quite fits the "Galactico" tag like DDG would. Unless they are going to use a massive chunk of their budget for somebody like Pogba.

I love Rooney, but everything he touches turns to ****. I think he needs a break.

We do excellent job keeping Sterling and KDB absolutely out of the game. COME ON UNITED!

The most boring, sloppy match I've watched all season (and this is coming from a Chelsea fan ;) )
