The Manchester United Thread

Herrera does **** all entire game, Memphis gets booed for subbing him and away fans chant Hererra's name.

**** logic.

Fans really, really like Herrera. Fans didn't boo Memphis, they booed the Herrera coming of the pitch.

Lmao Rojo and Jones in the away end celebrating like loonies with the fans, great to see stuff like that.

It's amazing how much better a player looks in his NATURAL POSITION like Darmian as RB this half. LVG take note.

There is hope after all, we're ***** but we're still better than them scousers. |)

Short term it's a fantastic result for United, but in the long-term it's very, very worrying. It is without doubt one of the worst United performance i have seen at Anfield.

It is all about the three points, but I was actually shocked just how bad they were - Liverpool just couldn't punish them for it

Ok, first things first, it's now safe to remove people from ignore list.
Second, business as usual, United beating mid-table teams. Good ****.

Its almost like he only plays on the left because all your left backs are injured.

Can you really not analyze the simplest things?

Anyhow, solid showing overall. Liverpool made a lot of noise, but didn't really create any sitters. With Bastian and Carrick (I assume) out, and Blind being stuck at CB with Jones out, LVG couldn't really play possession football, so he set up for counter and it sort of worked.

Props.

It seems you can't because the guy who came on was a LB who came on for Ashley Young who isn't really a LB he is a makeshift player there but is actually a winger.

Idk why Cameron Borthwick Jackson didn't play from the start, keep players in their natural positions and good things happen. When I've seen him play this season he's always done quite well. Start him there in his natural position and put Young further forward.

It was his cross that led to the goal

I acknowledged the corner but that goal was still more down to Fellaini's great header than anything, he was practically marked by two players if you look at the replays.

This looks like that period of the year where we just scrape past games

Young played as LB many times, so instead of making us weaker in 2 positions, Van Gaal should just play Young as LB and Darmian in his natural position.

Zzeezzy has a point tbh.

4 players. 4 vs 1, Fellaini still won the header. Fantastic.

Double again this season.
