The Manchester United Thread

Reading back the last 4 or 5 pages was a glaring example of why the ABU's where Country wide the '90's and 00's.

It wasn't Utds success. It was the graceless arrogance that went with it. Exemplified by the complete dissing of Pellegrini not being good enough for you.

The delusions of grandeur are an eerie 20/25 year flash back.

Yers all should end up with Giggs or Neville for a dose of cold, harsh reality. Pellegrini might not be in the very top echelon out there. But then neither are Utd so to just completely dismiss him is staggering.

There are some epic well Peps **** anyway, reasoning going on in the stupider parts of the internet.
 
Depending on this season and our inevitable next managerial appointment, whether it's sooner or later, I can see our decline lasting quite a long while if we don't make the right decisions in the near future regarding the next manager especially.

But for it to be on a Liverpool scale is kind of O.T.T at this stage to think that way. Although can't say I'm optimistic about much these days in relation to United.

As @nicolaiwrige95 points out: Omar Elabdelloaui will count as "home grown" for Man United, if the deal goes through.

Lets see if this goes through. TBH know nothing about the lad, but least its a FB.

Agree. Varela deserves a shot and has done well. Never seen this lad or heard of him before, apparently he can play both RB and LB.

Today Luke Shaw was at Carrington, at last some positive news for United fans. Also Valencia is back in Feb.

For LB position, CBJ did well when given chances. We shouldn't sign players for the sake of it as it blocks playing time for youngsters IMO. Also any LB we sign will be a short term as Shaw will be the first choice player.

Really surprised this lads still at the club. I know hes still only young and been unlucky with a few injuries. But the games he has played in mainly he has been largely dissapionting. Cant believe he was our option in that crucial CL game :O
 
That FBs agent has confirmed we have had talks with his player, but says hes certain no deal will be done.
