Mike ******* Dean. Such a terrible ref. How in the ***** **** is he allowed to do this job is beyond me. It's like rewording someone to not be successful. It's really stupid.
 
Ugh. Very rough sending off, but Mata can only blame himself.

He is. It is. But it still doesn't excuse Mata. He's an experienced older head FFS. Ridiculous.

Don't really rate Dean as a ref, but this time it was Mata who was a glorious idiot. What the **** was he thinking?
 
Is Lingard ******* made of paper? Slightest tackle launches him in the air like he's a space shuttle that's about to take off.
 
Mata, what the **** was he thinking? Also, can someone please tell me what the **** Lingaard brings to the team? he does nothing really. Also Carrick has been woeful so far today

Idk why LVG would break a winning team by swapping Carrick for Schneiderlin.

Schneiderlin was starting to be real good in his last few games and what does he do? Takes him out of the team as well as Memphis.

Just when players start to get some games under their belt and start playing with some good form, he ****** benches them, I don't get it.

Doesn't excuse him. But to send player off in 3 minutes, you really need to do something special. It was dumb challenge, but easily Dean could have forgive it, since you know, it wasn't that dangerous and as a ref, you never want to influence the game. And he kinda did. In some weird world where we all follow the rules, it's a yellow. But since we don't live there, I would never give player second yellow for that.

It's ridiculous, I thought that Morgan had played fantastically well recently with plenty of blocks, tackles interceptions and he looked dangerous in attack Memphis looked like he was getting some confidence back and then he goes and benches t
them both. Joke.
 
Yup, Dean should've simply forgiven it. Neither of those plays were even remotely dangerous and they happened within the span of few minutes. Follow spirit of the law not just the letters and all that.

But that doesn't excuse Mata's idiocy.

Only thing I'm thinking is perhaps he is resting them and saving them for the Europa League, which would be stupid anyway because for me the priority is the PL for top 4 finish again as it's on.

He can't 'forgive it' or he get's marked down and probably demoted. They took that leeway out of refs hands years back. He's following the rules. It is what is today and everyone knows it.

The first was a clear booking for stopping the quick free kick. The second was a reckless swing of the leg when you're on a booking that's only bringing one thing. Idiocy is certainly the word.
