The Manchester United Thread

Do Utd need another Everton player the last one wasn't much cop..... Maybe Fellaini can go back as part of the deal?

Why would Fellaini go to a club that never meets expectations such as ours? Right now we don't deserve players like Lukaku, Fellaini etc. We're playing second rate football and will not reach European football in the next 2-3 years

May I ask your opinion on Martial transfer fee then?

I don't think any ManUtd fan at that time said he was worth the money or not overpriced. Still many believe he was overpriced.

Same with Lukaku, I would say he will cost around 60 Million which is overpriced but then again considering how young he is and how many years he can play, it would be very good addition to the team.

Btw, overpriced or not we should go all the way to sign Lukaku. He said he wants CL, so that's something we might not offer next season but you can always convince players with the direction the club is going and how they plan to do it.

Rather players on the field than money in the bank.

Been reading the paper talk on the sky sports app and one paper is saying we are having a summer clearout with Memphis and schneiderlin going.

Schneiderlin? Seriously? What has he done wrong to be included in talks of a clearout? It's paper talk so not taking it seriously but still.

Least they'll be one midfielder in the world not linked with us :)

Getting rid of Schneiderlin would be odd, but this is Mourinho we're talking about.

RenatO Sanches looks a done dealio.

Btw Martial transfer was £36m with add ons if he meets certain clauses. Having seen the player he is and will become I'm pretty happy we paid that for one of the brightest talents in world football, without him this season we'd be next to nothing.

Him and De Gea are United this season for the most part.

Considering Morgan is similar to Matic to Jose specifically brought back, I doubt he's being sold.

Nothing story posted by some random gutter paper.

IMO there won't be any mass clear out as we don't need one. We need manager who can make players at least to play to their potential, forget about punching above their weight. Our squad is very good but needs 2-3 signings.

Jose mourinho loves DMs so it's all nonsense

Actually, i saw that article...it says we're willing to offload martial and rooney as well...lol..

Speaks volumes of its credibility

Jose Mourinho is not the Manager of Manchester United.

In title sure. If everything has been arranged, you can be sure that Jose is telling Man Utd what he wants and we are working on it.

The one I seen never mentioned anything about Martial and Rooney, but it did mention Jones and Rojo.

Again, I'm not so sure about lukaku. Sure on form, he's a beast but he can go on some really long scoring droughts.

He's basically a hot and cold striker and we already have enough inconsistent players.

Can you put his droughts down to Everton though? Id love to take him. Saying that I would have took Benteke in a heartbeat and look how thats turned out.

Benteke would be fine in the United System, its wingers and spearhead/focal point forward line. Klopp system is interchange and deeper play/hustle he just aint suited.

Benteke is a brilliant example. Believe it or not, i had benteke in mind while i was thinking about lukaku.

I wouldn't pay more than 45 mill

I think Benteke's lack of movement would be a big issue in our system.

Having watched him consistently not attack crosses when they've been in plentiful supply, supposedly his strength, and just stand around the penalty spot/ edge of the box expecting a picture perfect ball; I'm honestly not sure what 'system' suits him or just what kind of player he is any more.
