I really don't understand how people can say DDG isn't the best keeper in the world. I dont watch Bayern so cant really judge but people say that Neuer is better because he can read the play better and rushes out to stop counter attacks quickly, but that seems very risky and a by product of bad defending. If you're letting players in behind you so much that you need your keeper to come out to save you, something seems wrong.
Again though I dont watch Bayern so I could just be imagining the situation wrong.
I ******* hope we keep hold of him for a long time and not sell him to Madrid once he starts to just tear everyone apart every game like we did with Ronaldo.

You've answered your own question, they can play that way because he can read the game and make the save better than anyone and they know he will.
Exactly. Having Neuer on your team means you're basically playing with 12 people.
What a game, classic semi finals. Goals scored, penalty missed, equalizer, winning goal in the extra time.
Martial is a gem, what a player. Everytime he tries to attack the goal and take on his man. Same with Rashford, for his age he is playing superbly well.
Can't say anything more about De Gea. Best GK in the world. His reflexes are ridiculous.
Fellaini had a superb game and I was fuming when he was subbed out. What a decision that turned out to be. Herrera did really well to return the ball to Martial in the last min.
4-1-4-1 works for United and not sure why Van Gaal ditched it after the results we had last season. Fellaini looks lot more useful in this formation. Rooney played really well in the midfield too.

Btw Fellaini is very useful player if we play 4-1-4-1. Made immense contribution against West Ham in the QFs and vs Everton in SFs. Scored in both games.

Best I've seen Fellaini play in a long time. Admittedly I don't watch United too often though! His celebration to the Everton fans was brilliant..
He played well in the same position last season and for some reason Van Gaal changed the winning formation.

See after the reports from Portugese press yesterday that a fair few British saying its a done deal now. And Di Marzio saying shouldn't have to wait much longer. Hope we win FA Cup then it will be a good way to end things with LVG. And not on bad terms.

Doubt LVG would see it that way if he were to be binned after a Cup win and Utd's first trophy in three seasons.
He already, at least publicly, thinks he's improved on last season and his job isn't in question.

FA Cup or not it has defo not been an improvement and if anything our football has been a lot worse this season. Least when he goes he can say he won a trophy. Which we will be happy for. But it has been a poor 2 seasons under him!!!

You, me and everyone else knows that but the deluded one doesn't see it that way.
FA cup or not, end of the season he will retire. IMO that's how it ends. They will say Van Gaal decided to retire early and both parties will be happy.
Only top 4 would even have a chance of saving him, and even then it's unlikely. Would be amazed if he stays

Whatever happens, we can be gratuitous of Van Gaal giving Rashford, Fosu-Mensah, Borthwick-Jackson, and some others large enough platforms to perform.

Well, winning the fa cup would be a great way for him to bow out. He can hold his head up high at the end and say he's won trophies everywhere he's been.
