And no, Pereira wasn't best U21 player the whole season. Maybe in the latter part when all the ones who deserved it actually made the first team.

This is a pointless argument and a waste of space on the internet. Zzezzy just routinely gets a raging ***** over randomly picked youth player every month, it's hilarious.

And please, quit whining about Januzaj already. He has over 60 games and he's done jack **** in most of them. Kid does five half decent dribbles three years ago, you people proclaim him a second coming of Jesus based on absolutely nothing, and now you can't emotionally deal with the fact that maybe you were wrong all this time.

Three different manager this season decided not to use him. THREE. If that doesn't tell you the problem is Januzaj himself, you're hopeless.

That's pretty much what I was thinking. If Pereira was included in squads, it would surely be at the expense of januzaj. But saying that, it's not like januzaj has been used much either so it's a pointless argument really.

When most of your defense contains debutants or players that are u18/21 then you want your attackers as strong as possible. Apart from martial getting injured in the warm-up and rashford stepping in, we have pretty much played our strongest attack barring obvious rotations like mata/herrera.

I'm gutted Pereira hasn't been given more time, but it's more down to the situation than just snubbing him. That's my opinion anyway.

My main guy to watch is Zaha. Something says he will makes some big trouble if he dosent crash under pressure. Also that wing seems to be key who wins. Ward vs Martial and Zaha vs Rojo. Also Fellaini vs Jedinak will be interesting if Jedinak is played.

I'd love you to be right in that prediction but I can't see anything other than a comfortable United win.

Palace are an awful side, and injury hit, led by an even worse fella' that I fear will be a three time Cup final loser come this evening.
 
Lovin all the build up to the FA Cup still a big prize for me. The only thing I hate is the late kick off. Will be good if we can win it and go into next season on the back of an FA Cup win. And also start the next season in the season opening show piece Comm Shield.

Looking more and more like we'll be playing Barcelona at Wembley the Saturday before the Charity Shield as they don't want to play in Dublin twice in a few weeks. (Cardiff's the only other one in the running.).

L'pool and Utd down in London over a weekend a week before the season starts ..... Oh what joy!
 
You can't predict anything with this United side, and Palace may be ****, but I'd be much more comfortable playing one of the top 4 teams, than playing Palace.

The whole season now this side has been vulnerable to teams who sit deep and strike back with fast attackers, and that's exactly how Palace will set up with their quick wingers.

I feel the same way. They've got wingers in Bolasie and zaha to really do some damage

If ever there is a chance that players can ignore Van Gaal's instructions then it's this game. Looks like his last game so manager can't drop them for next games.

Doubt it, ask herrera

Herrera got benched for half of last season despite playing well everytime(almost) he played
