The Manchester United Thread

Yeah I would say what Smalling needs is a taller, quicker version of Blind. Someone to be a Rio to his Vidic, basically. Bailley might get there, mind, he would never make it in Spain without being competent on the ball.

Also, I wouldn't be so quick to be mocking Lord Jesus Klopp. He took them to two cup finals without any transfers and pre-season work, and now he'll have full season to focus entirely on the league. If you're not worried about gegenpressing team that can have 7 days of rest before every game...you will be.

Fun times ahead.

I would be concerned if there weren't Liverpool in that equation.

Lol. Remember that whole pedro fiasco last summer? When the media were like "Pedro snubs united to join chelsea"

It even got worse after the first game. Lol. Now he wants to run away. We certainly dodged a bullet with him

MAN UTD TARGET 'GOING NOWHERE'

Manchester United transfer target Henrikh Mkhitaryan will not be allowed to leave Borussia Dortmund until his contract runs out, according tothe Bundesliga club's chief executive Hans-Joachim Watzke. Speaking to ESPN Watzke said:

"We have been negotiating a new deal with Henrikh Mkhitaryan for four months. We now know he won't sign an extension. There was never a promise that he can leave us prematurely.

"We have intensely discussed the question of an early transfer in all club bodies and came to the conclusion that Mkhitaryan will stay in Dortmund next season."

Dont mean anything. They will sell if the fee is right.

Have you forgotten Lewandowski saga? If Dortmund says they're not selling, they're not selling.
Lewa wasn't really a saga he was happy in the end and did not kick up to much fuss. Mk has made it clear for months he wants to leave and has stopped talking to the club about contract negotiations now. Even Dortmund fans say this is completely different situation. Can't see them want Mk there with no motivation to play and him and Riola making noise off the pitch either. They could not sell, but most Dortmund fans seem to think they will for the right price and if the player insists he wants to leave no matter what.

What challenge mate get real Im willing to bet good money that you ll barely make sixth!

That's a brave one oO)
If you think Liverpool will barely make sixth, how do you see the table finishing next season?
1st to 7th?

I was waiting for ages for someone to point this pretty obvious thing out SUNIL, way to go mate!!!!(H)

I think you should back Liverpool. They have klopp who can cure cancer so winning league shouldn't be an issue. Also they have 19 year old kid who barely played at top level but is better than Blind.

You are losing money by not betting on them, at least that's whate we read here.

Seriously though, Arsenal and City looks better choice. One team have settled squad and added quality player and city will sign big players on top of having very good attacking team.

Happy? He was ******* furious. He was on one of lowest contracts in the team, Dortmund promised him transfer in the summer, only to block it after Bayern surprised them by activacting Gotze's release clause.

The only reason he didn't kick up the fuss is because he was set on staying in Germany, wouldn't have been smart to create a mess out of things if he wanted those sweet advertising contracts to keep flowing.

Lewandowski signed new contract with higher wages in his last year at Dortmund. He stayed because he wanted only Bayern and Bayern didn't want to spend 30 Million on him as they knew they will sign him on free. Other clubs offered more money but player wanted only Bayern.

Initially he was on 1.3 Million contact and later signed 4.3 Million contract in 2013 as a reward for his fantastic form in 2012-13 season.

Sixth was trolling they may make fifth.

Top 4 will be ******, Utd, **** and Chelski but dont ask me who will win it. Only thing everybody knows is that it wont be **** as always.

Then spurs and sixth LFC.

I think Spurs will win it this season, would've loved to have Pochettino as manager though Mou is great too.My predictions
1. Tottenham
2. Manchester City/Manchester United
3. Manchester City/Manchester United
4. 4rsenal
5. Chelsea
6. Liverpool
7. Leicester

Cant separate them Manchester clubs, though I wanna say United for 2nd, I'm not very sure...Top 5 will be really tight.

I think West Ham and saints and Everton could be in the mix for any place after the top 4
