The Manchester United Thread

I just troll everyone and know my team is **** so its win win ;) but seriously people don't realise how good we have it on base, I mean other sites hand out straight bans for things like questioning moderator actions on the forum etc.

Yeah, and the comment in bold makes the world a better place so long may it continue!!!:P

And it's a such a ****** way of doing it too. It's always more effective to mediate when the heads start cooking and remind people that there's another person on the other side.

Nice to see Liverpool taking the cup seriously against the mighty Burton. The underdogs travelled with a full strength team. Mignolet, Clyne, Lovren, Matip, Milner, Henderson, Can, Lallana, Firmino, Mane, Origi. Subs: Manninger, Klavan, Moreno, Stewart, Wijnaldum, Ings, Sturridge.

Klippity Klopp must be after his first piece of silverware in England and make sure Liverpool qualify for Europe next season. (Banter before anybody starts crying)

I have respect for Paddy Crerand as a proper United man through & through, he was a terrific player, and on top of it all, he's a proper gent! However, I can't help but feel embarrassed with some of the things he comes out with lol.

His football terminology is so out of date, which I guess is understandable for a man of 77, but I still can't help chuckle hahaha. On his show this week, he debated with his co-presenter when the co-presenter spoke about the "who plays as the #10 role?", the co-presenter stated something like "With Mata, Mkhitaryan & Rooney, there is so much compeition there, but Wayne currently operates as the #10" before Crerand interrupts and says "It doesn't matter which number you wear on the back of your shirt", that's not quite what he meant by the "#10 role" Paddy :D love the guy!

Selective moderation!! Can't believe it hasn't been deleted.
I've been speaking to other members and it's getting very uncomfortable for them.
Several have started wetting the bed again.

Seriously, this is unacceptable. Gruppenführer Mike needs to keep his minions in check.

Er, what I meant to say, is our glorious leader Mike needs to discuss the matter with the rest of our highly respectable moderators.

The season is in swing again and the rivalry between Manchester United and Liverpool fans is always great craic.
Playing a victim card on a web forum never gets you anywhere though.

I see no favoritism here?
We are all just a bunch of wankers :D

Tezz is a ******* shitbag, but still, I'll take him over almost any of you on this forum. At least he can be witty. Most of you ******* are lame sods who offer pretty much nothing bar increasing numbers.

With your ******* lame, ****** 'banter' and terrible jokes, it makes me wonder why would anyone new even post in football forum. Grow the **** up.

I hope Mike can see this post was blatantly about me with this coded message!

He even pointed out my ****** jokes. Not on Mike, surely a ban on the way!?

That would work if there was actually any other moderators left, we've drove them all away. (6)

Such a model professional.

I Hope he stays and somehow gets his chance in perhaps the Europa League/League Cup/Fa Cup and impresses, to give Jose a mega headache. Having said that, as much as I love him, with gritted teeth I can understand why Mourinho would see a 32 year old injury-prone midfielder surplus to requirements with Pogba (world class), Herrera (younger, more energetic), Schneiderlin (see Herrera), Fellaini (offers a different dimension, and is younger) and Carrick (I think in a toss up between him and Bastian, 10 years of knowledge at the club sees him edge the Bayern legend), so I can understand that moving on as a club, how Jose would not see Bastian in his plans. Can he regard himself majorly unlucky? Yes. Will Manchester United be winning trophies in 10 years when he's retired and gone? Let's hope so. In the grand scheme of things, Jose is the boss of the biggest club in the world (in my opinion), and he will make as many unpopular decisions as he will popular ones, but his track record suggests he knows what he's doing.

I respect Schweinsteiger as a player, but I don't really see what he achieves by staying here if Mourinho has cast him aside and has no plans for him. Other than earning the big wages he will be on of course. I just thought a player like him would want to play again rather than fade his career out.

Having said that, if I was Mourinho I would just make him part of the squad, useful player to have but no way he will change his stance now I don't think.
