Over what duration? Arsenal alone topping over a billion in buys? Finding that hard to believe.

Arsenals spending since start of Premier League is going to be bit over 600mil after likely signings of Lucas Perez and Mustafi.

Can't wait to see who we get in EL draw. Good news for Prem teams next season as the new rules make the top 4 places guaranteed CL footy.

Meant to add since the PL started but it was late and I was tired. At a guess I'd have thought that city would break £1 billion soon which would mean every title winner was over bar arsenal Blackburn and Leicester

This is turning into quite the nightmare for any travelling Utd fans.

They've had enough problems previously in Istanbul, and Turkey is well volatile at the minute. Feyenoord is just about the worst set of knobs you can come across in Holland. Unless there's any alliances I don't know about I'd be very mixed on those.

Ouch. And the Ukraine to top it off. Least you don't need a visa but that's a nightmare trek. Right the far side of Ukraine 600 plus miles further than Kiev.

Wouldn't be happy with that group at all as a travelling fan.

Kuyt and Skrtel for Feyenoord and Fenerbahce so there's some interest.

Southampton on the other hand ..... Milan, Prague and Israel (ALWAYS wanted to go there) ..... Salivation.

I for one would definitely be in no hurry to travel to Turkey. They don't hide their...errr..."no love lost" mentality for British people. Not to mention the country now is in a much crazier state than in recent times. Cities being bombed on a weekly basis almost, that crazy coup that saw Turkish soldiers fight against the Turkish police & Erdogan, just so much **** going on out there. Beautiful country, don't get me wrong, and the Turkish Lira would make you feel like Roman Abramovich, but I for one would prefer to give that a miss.

Pretty much the same feelings and we've have had nothing but fantastic trips to Istanbul. (Ended up guests of honour at some Turkish fella's daughters wedding reception the first time against Galatasaray. That was a crazy afternoon and evening. But far be it from us to turn down free food and drink haha.).

But Turkey right now is a completely different scenario. I'd have to think hard on that as much as I'd like to tick Fenerbahce off.

The whole groups a nightmare. Logistically. Cost/ time wise. And from a safety aspect.

Don't envy any Utd fan doing that at all.

If you want to do fenerbahce pal do the fener/gala derby its a great experience unlike anything ai have seen in Europe at least, intense as anything but its a great experience

And get stabbed? I would have thought that was one game you would want to avoid?

You could get stabbed anywhere in the world, I have watched football all over the place and never been stabbed in alot scarier places than Istanbul believe me and although I have seen my fair share of hooliganism never once been close to being stabbed. I mean **** me I have been to the Flu/Fla derby and come out unscathed so a little trip to Istanbul is fine. Also Istanbul is an amazing place and football aside everyone should go at least once

probably helps that my complexion and big **** off beard I look like an arab anyway, always get searched at airports the struggle is real
