I definitely wouldn't be dropping Valencia for Darmian. Solid defensively, beast going forward, and full of confidence.

Darmian struggles against pace so I'm quite skeptical about leaving him to cater sterling.

I think Sterling plays wide right under Pep, Nolito has that inside left position stamped down. So it'll more than likely be Shaw v Sterling.

I would play Valencia. City will likely play Zabaleta and possibly Otamendi who will be in the same boat. Valencia seems very fit and I think he should be able to cope, especially if he gets midweek off

I know Mou was worried about Tony v getting back late on Friday and I think the argie boys get back early Friday morning

Rashford will more than likely lead the line for the U21's (England) at 5.45, interested to see much he'll stand out.

For all the 4 minutes he got against Iceland in the Euros, he was England's man of the match.

Strictly speaking he may well of been. But when you're England, and you lose to Iceland, arguably the single worst result in your history, you don't get to have a MoM. You get to hang your collective heads in embarrassment. Every last one of you.

No doubt Scouse, I'm just saying Roy could've done a lot worse than introduce him earlier in that game. Who knows, he may of had a little moment of fearless magic, in a side lacked so much thrust & creative spark in the final third it was ridiculous, he certainly looked more than capable for all the time he had. Woy took on Wilshere & Vardy before the hour mark if I remember correctly, but left his final trump card (Rashford), who has pace and a willingness to take on men/get in behind, until the 86th minute. I also thought Deschamps made a big mistake leaving Martial on the bench so long in the final against Portugal, even Henry & co in the studio's couldn't believe it. It sounds so biased with them both being United players, but I just don't understand why managers sometimes delay introducing pacey match winners until it's too late at times.

CBJ just started for England u20 v Brazil. Tuanzebe on the bench. Sorry just highlights. Looks like he had a right stinker. Shocking back pass to the keeper for there second goal and beat far to easily for there first. Tbh the whole defence looks shoddy! Got yanked off at HT.

MARCUS RASHFORD.

- Scored on his senior club debut
- Which was his European debut
- Scored on his Premier League debut
- Scored in his Manchester derby debut
- Scored on his senior international debut
- Scores in his u21 international debut

And still remains as grounded as when we first seen him grace the senior stage at Old Trafford vs Midtjylland. Ibrahimovic comes in and he's forced to play second fiddle, demoted to the u21's for England, does he spit his dummy out? no; he gets his chances and does the business... this boy has the temperament to match all of his ability.

Fair play to Van Gaal for giving him a chance. Mourinho would have played Rooney or Fellaini up top.
