If Aguero doesn't play in the derby, which he won't i don't think, then good, as he's one of the best #9's in world football... however, I'm just wondering will it make it trickier to break them down as a unit, especially as Pep has been around long enough to recognise that away sides in big games like this have to compensate a little bit, could it make City more solid overall? Will they set up slightly more rigidly for the draw in Sergio's absence? A recent example of what I'm trying to say is I don't think Portugal would've won the Euro's if Ronaldo didn't go off injured in that final, as even though Nani was super in that tournament, they all still looked to get everything to Ronaldo, ball to feet, put him through, tried to get it on his head, everything... and I know City have more match winners other than Aguero as opposed to what Portugal had without Ronaldo, but it still doesn't take away the fact that Aguero is probably as important to City as Ronaldo was to Portugal in terms of being the focal point of attack. I personally would like to see Pep just go for a straight like-for-like swap in Iheanacho starting for the banned Aguero, and be prepared for what we've seen all season, but something tells me Guardiola accepts that Aguero is banned and simply won't be available (regardless of any appeals), and may have something up his sleeve come next Saturday.
I swear Mourinho v Pep is almost as exciting as the derby/6 pointer alone, I'm intrigued.
