Regarding Phil Jones: "Doesn't remember" when Phil Jones last had a run of good matches. Last time he remembers him playing was against Madrid when he managed them. Has been training with the team for more than a week now. A forced move to select him as there are 3 defenders injured.




 
Sorry to see him go. To be fair it was a mini miracle that he was still here considering some of the woeful background losses in Moyes' "era".


I rate him myself, but it's a whole different ball game when you leave Old Trafford to go take up a full time manager's position, and an even tougher task when you take over outside a transfer window/into the season. Hope he gets that little bit of luck he needs, and makes a name for himself.
 
Im glad he got sent off at HT. Because if he had not of done, god knows what he would of been like after those decisions in the second half!

I doubt any of our previous managers would gave avoided being sent off in that game.
