Not even a direct quote from Shaw, and nothing from Smalling, but clearly it's the truth right?

Jesus, just imagine Griezzmann at United, would be a dream, but I really think we'll get fleeced and rightly so. But for him, I'd pay extortionate amount.

No doubt Greizmann is a fantastic player who'd be a plus for any side. It just doesn't go unnoticed that Utd and a lot of your fans now (and this goes across the board. A lot of L'pool fans were ******** about no big names the Summer. Funny how they're VERY quite now huh?), just want the next big thing and 'he'll be the one.' You're getting to an '80's situation where you constantly went after the biggest and best and threw good money after bad desperately trying to buy it back.

Made even more funny by everyone talking about the great youth at the club, and flippantly dismissing anyone that mentions Mourinho doesn't play youth regardless of the B/S he now say's; and then in the next breath the fix they want is someone bought in to be another block in the path of any potential promising youngster.

I know it might blow the mind of some, but it's possible to play youth AND buy big players, it's kinda what we have done and have been doing.

Oh and last time I checked, we had not bought, nor even bid, nor even expressed an interest in Griezmann.

Doesn't stop people getting ahead of themselves though.

I'd love grizzy tho. Great replacement for rooney

I would've preferred Muller but grizzy is on a similar level.
 
While I don't think that we will get Griezmann, if we did it would be great.

Just imagine Martial, Rashford and Griezmann all playing together, they could all interchange and swap positions seamlessly. With Pogba/Mata feeding them the ball. It would be similar to Messi Suarez and Neymar, just younger and not as amazing.

That would be heaven for me.
