Good solid away game. Played better second half was a bit more composed in final third. Zlatan keeps the run going and Bailly looked good and fit. Mky is just pure class! Both goals taken well. No injuries. Bring in Spurs :)
 
Glad to have bailly back tho. That commanding presence of his gives me that secure feeling at the back. It's a shame he'll be gone for AFCON.

It could and should of been a lot worse. They were cutting us open. Our u23s really are decent at best except for Tuanzebe, Williams, Poole and Riley. All defenders lol.
 
The De Vrij links seem to be getting warmer by the day. Thoughts?

Not happening. Napoli manager said he's in middle of contract talks. Plus his agent told De Telegraph the same. Gimenez on the other hand could happen. TBH were being linked with all defenders atm.

Do you think we need a defender? I'm pretty happy with Bailly & Smalling when both fit.

Not yet. Especially if Jones and Rojo keep up there good form. I would ideally want a RB in the summer, think we will go for Semedo from Benfica. As the club are looking to sell Darmian. Would want a CB partner for Bailly in the summer, a real top defender that would improve our 11. Then have Smalling, Jones, Tuanzebe as the rotation options. Gimenez would be my choice. Tough tackling CB great in the air and decent on the ball. From a few Ateletico fans I have spoke with, he would be available as he's not happy with his playing time and had a few fall outs with Simone this season.
