The Manchester United Thread

U16s beat Everton 3-1 and the u18s drew 1-1. Gomes with the goal but also missed another pen for the second game in a row. Real poor game missed some absolute sitters especially Buffonge in the last min. Everton more interested in kicking the players than the ball. Could of had 3 straight reds!

Decent half from us, much the better side, created a few chances, Grant with a good couple of stops. Mata with the miss of the season, Zlatan one-on-one but uncharacteristically opted to try square one when he should've just gone with his left.

Don't even think Stoke have had a shot, even their goal was a cross fortunately deflecting off Mata/De Gea and in. Same again, get the first before the 65 minute mark, and push to win it.

Miss of the season Juan Mata.

Why not let it run onto his right foot and just tap it in. Really ****** me off when a professional footballer completely ***** something up because they would rather use their stronger foot. Absolutely no need there.

I wouldn't mind, he's usually the man you want in those type of situations.

I'm getting text's from the Ev seriously believing they can now get 6th.

Mad how things change so quickly. Pre-Christmas they all were looking at a relegation fight!

Finally done it and important goal, who doesn't want to set a record with a late equaliser away to stoke :P

Good goal but really I still see this as a massive 2 points dropped in the context of where we are. Depending on results we may well be 4 points off top 4 at least.

Great goal from Wazza! Not the best result but happy to have gained on Pool which non of us thought they would get beat today. To wasteful, but boy this team just doesn't give up!
