Valencia has been incredible. He's also 32 I think. He won't be replaced. But he also can't go on forever

I think it's Darmian who is under threat from any full back joining the club

Doubt Mourinho will be looking to replace Valencia; signed a new deal, said he tried to sign him when he was at Madrid to convert him into a RB, and now says he's the best RB in the world.
I can. We have no quality cover there and Valencia ain't no spring chicken anymore. In fact let alone quality cover we will have no cover if Darmian leaves.

Gutted for the lad! Was doing great for Grimsby and playing well and keeping clean sheets now he's gonna have to sit around being 3rd choice

Dean Henderson recall might be over possible injury to Joel Pereira. Kieran O'Hara was warm-up goalie vs Hull. #mufc

Hysaj *cough* Hysaj
Credit for Valencia for adapting well but the standard of full backs these days are generally quite poor.

Looks like United are signing Semedo. Heard he's an excellent fullback. One of Benfica's best.

Guys, I didn't say Valencia is the best right back in the world nor do I think it, there's really no need to be throwing alternative's at me haha. I'm just saying what Mourinho said, to back up to my belief that he won't replace him.

But yeah, Darmian doesn't seem to be overly fancied.

Darmian is tactically astute, but hes become afraid of attacking, and lost all confidence in his defending. Valencia is also tactically astute and has done the complete opposite form wise. Semedo is excellent, hope we do get him.

Watched Benfica a shed load this season and Semedo has been fantastic, if not one of there best player. He's so good tactically for a defender young in years. And his attacking play is right up there with any RB in world football. Come to think of it I can only recall him being out of position maybe twice I've seen this season. Would be a fantastic signing!

Mourinho reflects on Hull
“We didn’t get the three points that we wanted. Every draw, we deserved the victory.”

On transfers:

“I am very realistic. My board knows what I need and who I want."

Mourinho said:

“We don’t score enough. Some of our players from attacking creative positions could and should score more.”

"We know draws, we have the best draws. I have to tell you, and everyone knows this: you can ask anyone on the street, your average real Mancunian and they know it, I know it, you know it, we deserved the victory.

Lol...nice trump parody.

Anyways, I disagree with mourinho there. Both results against Liverpool (which were draws) were entirely deserved. The draw at Goodison park was deserved as well. But as for the remaining 6 draws, I take it they came from stoke home/away, arsenal (home), burnley at home etc. Yes, we deserved to win those but didn't due to poor finishing.

We've played well enough for wins at most but certainly not all draws. But when you are consistently missing big chances, that's not bad luck, that's time to work hard on the training ground. Get a finishing expert in. Watch the players goals and misses, identity what technical aspects need working on and improve. Because the guys missing are certainly not poor players

Pogba in particular needs to work on his finishing. To his credit, he's got into some fantastic positions this season, but has missed some big chances.
