The Manchester United Thread

Martial has played 2 games back to back now. I'm sure he's just being rested for wembley.

I really hope mhkitaryan's injury isn't serious?

Literally been in 10 minutes but reading it's a hammy which bar a miracle would rule him out of Sunday.

Chance you take playing the big guns in a dead tie. Begs the question why the likes of Pigba and Ibrahimovic are out the second half?

I don't think it was completely dead before the game, if they got an early goal, it could've got a little nervy. I personally love the way Mourinho shows respect to every game and every competition.

However, I do agree with your last point, I'd like to see those two taken off.

Let's be honest. It's not like we don't have quality cover. Put Mata at 10 then Rashford and Martial on either wing. We should be able to beat Saints still and Bournemouth at home. By that time Mky will be back. Lol Bailly been done there big time never a second yellow!

If it's not dead at 3-0, no away goals, against a poor French side then somethings awry. As most who've commented on tonights game in here readilly said after last weeks game that third goal had killed the tie.

How you approach it is whatever but let's not pretend there was ever any threat on tonight.

Boneheaded stupidity from Baily there.

First challenge yes. Second never touched him.

They showed more than enough at Old Trafford to suggest that in their own backyard, with their outstanding fans behind them, if they got an early goal, who knows. Football's a crazy, crazy game.

Having said that, they've been absolutely **** poor tonight. Offered literally nothing. Can't believe it's the same side that turned up to Old Trafford last Thursday.

It's been an easy game tbh. They have been poor. And we've strolled through in second gear for most parts.

Yep, perfect game all in all in the build up to our final. Never really pushed by St. Etienne, been a breeze.

Suggestions Mourinho just took Mkhi off as a precaution after that little tuggle with Malcuit (in a way, it'd make sense; scored the 100% killing goal, not near as physically equipped as Ibra or Pogba to fend off nitty gritty, the manner in which he plays invites big tackles & hits, etc... hope it's the case, slim chance, but a chance).

Be interesting to hear from Mourinho post match.
