Southampton were tactically better in truth. You can see those 2 weeks they had paid off on the pitch but not in the result.

What won the game for us was basically individuals. If Puel had a better team at his disposal, we would've very well lost that.

If's and but's mate, like you mention they had much longer to prepare for it, very different for Mourinho who has to prepare us for 2/3 different games in the same time. Just be happy with another trophy in the cabinet.

Thinking about it, I think Mourinho needs to get top 4 or win Europa for this to be deemed a successful season. If he failed to achieve one of those two but still won us Capital One and FA Cup, I'd still deem it a unsuccessful season.

You crave attention so much?
Did you have an unhappy childhood?

By individuals you mean those wearing black.

LOL. Them inclusive. Like i said, if Puel had better players, it would've been a different game. Wouldn''t you agree?

They had lapses in concentration at the back plus they lacked consistent quality in the final third.

But we won! Yay!

The difference is LVG had two seasons and managed only one major trophy, Jose hasn't even finished his first season in charge and is still fighting on 3 fronts with one in the bag.

The timings bad from zz given Utd have just won the league cup but there's nothing 'attention seeking' in what he just said.

You don't spend over £150 million to not make the CL.

What three fronts are that, exactly? Europa League front, FA Cup front and Wenger trophy front?

Special mention to DDG kept us in it at crucial times today with a couple of key saves. And a shout out to Tony V who had to deal with Bertrand and Redmond with no help whatsoever. Oh year and all that money spent on Wembley the trophy area is fecking terrible tbh.

Yes, i almost forgot valencia...our unsung hero for today and for our entire season.

He was our best player beside the Swedish sensation upfront.

He held his own and the saints got very little joy down his side. Bar the cross from redmond that led to the offside goal and the betrand cross late on, i don't remember a time when southampton threatened from the right.

They focused on rojo for pretty much the majority of the game.

Yep agree also Pogba stepped up big time in the second half fighting for everything and putting in a shift defensively, while getting forward in attack.

The league isn't over just yet or have you forgotten Newcastle under Keegan. Personally I think Chelsea are too consistent this season (especially without the distraction of any kind of European competition) to not win the league however 2-4 is do-able. The Europa League is the key competition in my view win that and it doesn't matter where you end up in the league placings (something Spurs seen to have forgotten).

Last time I checked the competition in the Premier League isn't for the 2-4 place, it's for the trophy and you've been out of that by November. That leaves you in two competitions.

So Liverpool, Arsenal etc are in no competitions?
