The Manchester United Thread

Apparently he told Herrera that it wasn't so bad, and he did walk off relatively normally:
"It don’t look very serious, I’ve asked Paul and he was quite positive," Herrera told MUTV (via the Metro).

"He thought it was not so big, the injury, so hopefully the injury is not very big because Paul is important for us."

dont know why every 1 is having a go at keane he does have a point mou just needs to cut out talking **** and get on with his job i do like him but if he cuts out all the bull **** the better the team will become

Roy Keane criticises himself for “sub standard” and "amateur" criticism.

Roy Keane has hit back at himself for what he has described as “sub standard” criticism of Manchester United in recent weeks.
Keane, a former captain at Old Trafford, criticised the club for a number of poor recent performances, only to reveal that he was far from impressed with what he called a “half arsed” and “amateur” critique from himself.

“If I think that’s what passes for top quality criticism these days then I’m kidding myself. It’s a joke,” said a furious Keane, adding that if it were him, which it is, he’d have harsh words with himself, which he plans to do.

“It’s all well and good raising your voice to a high pitched drone and furrowing your brows but at the end of the day I’ve got to do better. If I’d criticised someone like that at United they’d have laughed me out of there.”

At press time, Keane was said to have come to blows with himself after a disagreement over the quality of the criticism of his criticism.

Made me laugh anyway

Confirmed by Blinds farther that he is fine and suffered no concussion after his clash yesterday that forced him off. And Martial trained with the first team today. Not sure how much he will feature though. Maybe make the bench.

*Nods. Not much round the ground but Brussels is boss. But then it's Belgium. Hard to go wrong there.

*Edit* Just stay off the Belgium ale. That stuff will kill yer!

It's absolute garbage like that, that has him so disliked and in turn whatever club he's at, at the time. You've seen it on here with the Chelsea lads. Loved him when he was at their club. But are seeing more and more what a gnarly so and so he is now he's not.

If we're referring to these comments below in the link I'm baffled how anyone thinks he is speaking garbage. It's spot on to me that the FA don't help English clubs one bit when it comes to scheduling and them being in Europe. As our horrendous fixture schedule shows for April it's not only highly unfair for our league aspirations, considering us and Leicester are only ones now in Europe in comparison to all other PL clubs who will have much more time. But it's not helping English clubs generally when they are in Europe one bit, when you compare it to other league associations in Germany/Spain or wherever where they try to help their teams by spacing their games out more when they have played in European competitions.

"I think they don't give an S about the English teams in Europe. They simply don't care."

Add the FA to the list of 'all the Utd enemies.' Which was the post match interview we were referencing. As you know from the post you cut down.

Wouldn't have it any other way mate, just makes us stronger, when we win to see all our haters hide in their caves.

But on a serious note, if anyone tries to convince themselves that the FA is helping us then just look at our schedule for April, it's bonkers, May could be as bad depending on how we do.

Europa League is our best chance now, hate to say it with the teams left in it as the disadvantage we have in the league in terms of preparation between games etc etc. to make top 4 is going to be incredibly tough.

The F.A. should definitely help teams more when in Europe with scheduling though, other league associations make an effort to help whereas ours is just all about the money, no real surprise.

I wouldn't know zz.

Apparently, none of your rivals know about fatigue.

L'pool having the heaviest schedule in Europe last year with nottin' like the depth of Utd's squad doesn't come into it.
