Howler from Valdes, but delighted to see Valencia get his goal.

3 points, job done, nice one.

Only negative for me, is that Rojo for Mata substitute. We've dropped silly points already earlier this season from negative substitutions, sitting too deep and allowing teams to repeatedly attack us and try get back into the game... it almost felt like deja vu until the Valdes error, Negredo had a couple of little half chances after they back into it. We already had 5 at the back, in control of the game, I just felt there was no need to go with what was effectively a back 6. I understand where he's coming from with the caution, massive 3 points given the Arsenal result and what'll happen later, tricky tie away from home, right before the internationals, but I feel some fresh legs at the other end could've helped us see out the game a lot more comfortably than we did by sending on a centre half for our #10, inviting storms of attacks from Boro with answer to it.

Having said that, a really good 3 points! Delighted to finally get 3 points on a weekend where others around us have and will drop points.

Spot on, we invited needless pressure, they could of easily equalized and no one to blame but ourselves. However as it happened we held on and got a valuable 3 points.

Bunch of ******* Liverpool fans down in the pub all claiming Valdés took a dive.
Had to leave before I hit one of the emaciated little runts.

Great 3 points for United today.
Hated the negative tactics in the second half when Boro were there to be taken, but 3 points is 3 points.

From what I can see, it looks like he momentarily thought about the bite. Then stopped himself.
Could be way off... But that's what it looks like.

Oh yeah Periera had a very good game today. Got an assist and could of had a couple more. His crossing and passing are top draw and he glides past players. Now he has added defencive workrate and great attitude and commitment for 90 mins. I'm fairly confident he will feature next season. Especially after his latest talks with Mourinho.

People are idiots.

People drinking watching football turn into bigger idiots than most.

Also great interview with Fergie about Carrick and his importance to the team the last 10 years. Really goes to show how key he was and need to replace him in the Summer. Not like for like but quality wise.

UNITED ANNOUNCES PRE-SEASON TOUR TO USA
• Tour 2017, presented by Aon
• United to play five games in North America this summer
• Games to be played on the east and west coast

(NYSE:MANU) Manchester United will play games in the United States of America this summer for Tour 2017, presented by Aon.

Jose Mourinho’s men will play five games in five cities, including matches in Los Angeles, Salt Lake City, Santa Clara and Washington DC.

In the previous two visits to the USA, the club has welcomed more than half a million supporters to games across the States, in a country where United has over eight million followers.

The two-week tour forms part of the club’s preparations for the 2017/18 Premier League campaign, with further details regarding Tour 2017, including opposition teams, venues and ticket details, to be announced in the coming days.

United first visited America in 1950 as part of a close-season tour, playing against local clubs. The long-standing relationship with the USA has seen the club make a further 14 visits to the country facing American and Mexican sides as well as a host of clubs from across Europe.

Speaking of the summer plans, United’s executive vice-chairman, Ed Woodward, said: “Visiting North America will give the team the best possible preparation for the new season, using top-class training facilities and playing in some great stadiums.

“We have witnessed first-hand the passion and support for the club in the US in recent years, so naturally it is something that everybody is very much looking forward to this summer.”

Aon is the presenting partner of Manchester United’s Tour 2017, offering its expertise in risk management, insurance, reinsurance brokerage and human resources solutions.

President and chief executive officer of Aon, Greg Case, said: “We are pleased to partner with Manchester United as the club makes its return to the United States for Tour 2017. In the US, and around the world, we work with organisations to empower results by reducing volatility and finding opportunities to improve performance. Like Manchester United, we believe that success requires a compelling strategy, strong execution and above all, leadership. We look forward to supporting the club on their journey to greatness.”

Also Mourinho has said in an interview coming out he and Ex wants all our business done before the tour.
