Is he injured again? Dude should have his own treatment table.

Yeh, well I'm pretending like I really know, but if you look at his last tweet. He's saying how he is back on the road to recovery, so give it another year or two and you might see him near a pitch.

He got his fourth knee ligament injury a couple of weeks ago just after scoring a hat trick. Left knee for a change the other three had all been his right knee, not sure if that makes it better or worse

Guy has awful luck.

ANOTHER ACL?!!!!!

Man alive his knees are made of biscuits. He'd be best looking at retiring at his age after another one.

If nothing else, the mental strength to keep fighting to try and make a comeback even after so many injuries is very admirable

Yeah, but likes of Phil Jones are practically nicking a living. Great player when fit, but that's not too often

Celta is okay draw I guess, although they're playing for nothing in the league so they will rest their players and throw everything at United. Shame about Rossi but they still have Sisto who run circles around United defenders when they played Midtjylland.

It's critical that you kill the tie in in the first leg, because like we've seen yesterday, if first tie ends with a neutral-ish result, in a second tie anything can happen, no matter how much talent disparity is between the teams.

That was Zlatan's last game if true. He'd be in his 36 by the time the injury like that is healed. Even if he could still play on a good level, there comes a point in time where you need to let go and stop pushing your health, or you could end up like Batistuta. I'd imagine the doctors will be recommending him that he calls it quits too.

Eh zlatan is finished now. Good thing we held off on the contract extension. Now the question is do we make rashford our main man? Isn't it too early to do so? Or do we just go our and get a striker? Mourinho likes physical strikers so he'd be having a look at lukaku.

Rashfords not ready yet no way. Mourinho has said himself it's impossible for him to play every game or even most games. I like Lukaku but he's yet to convince me in big games. And at 100m Everton can do one! If we are looking for STs there's many I would get before spending that kind of money on Lukaku. Icardi, Belotti, Lacazette, Augbamyang, Dybala, Cavani.

belotti torino want 85m for him i would give lacazette a go
Yeah read that. Bit steep imo. Think any of the top STRs are gonna cost a fair wack. Just seen that a few reports in France are quoting 60-80m£ for Lacazette. You think that plus another attacker and maybe 2-3 more signings. Gonna spend a bomb this summer.

Surely, I can't be the only one that doesn't rate cavani.

Lacazette is probably the best and most realistic option there.

well we have spent a ton in the last 3 seasons so it nothing new i would go all out for dybala but dont think that would happen so would be more than happy with lacazette

Whats not to rate. Would fit well in Mourinho system. Great work rate. Fantastic movement and scores shed loads. Doubt PSG would sell depending on who they signed. Icardi would be my preferred choice.

Yeah think the last 3 years we've spent 140m- 100mnet, 100m- 30m net, 150m- 105m net. Think this year can see us doing 200m- net? Depending on players sold.

Yeah, losing Zlatan must have ****** up Mourinho's longterm plans horribly. He was probably hoping that after another year Rashford can become the main man, at which point you just bring a moderately priced backup for him.

Now though? You basically need to splash huge fee for a new primary striker, but a guy like that isn't going to be willing to be a backup, while Rashford obviously isn't going to be a one-season wonder and has what it takes to become one of the very best, so you need to give him chances and develop him.

Yep my thoughts exactly. And he's defo gonna spend to get even a good STR let alone a top quality one. Maybe a season or 2 early for Rashford to be leading the line for us full time.
