Aerial duels won in the Premier League this term: Michael Keane (149) Chris Smalling (46) Marcos Rojo (45) Phil Jones (42) Eric Bailly (36)
Don't know how many games were played for each to get a real comparison. That's a lot of headers for Keane anyway
Yeah I agree. But to have that stat in Europes top 5 leagues is still impressive. Plus his alround game is good enough anyway.Cant really compare stats like that. Players in certain teams will always be near the top because of the quality of the team they are in and how they play. There's a reason why the top 5 defenders for aerial duels play for Burnley, Bournemouth, West Brom and Stoke.

Joe, I do believe your defensive stats would look good if you were a centre-half in a team deep sat as deep as Burnley.
League average defender who's a product of Burnley's system. Don't get the interest at all when he'd be asked to actually think for himself and play football.
Yeh not saying its not good or he's a bad player. Just pointless stats.
TFM isn't a ball playing DM, though he's a tidy passer
I'd wager he could be a **** of a lot better player in whatever role you'd put Dier in than Dier. Just a bang average, hard working player.
Don't get that interest at all. (If it's true which is another thing again.).
Ta for the insight in where you're looking at him going forward.
Yeah for me would be Zlatan, Herrera, Valencia in that order.Yes, I hope Zlatan wins POTY!
Not impossible but highly unlikely. Rejected a shed load of offers last season and good money from Chelsea. As he loves Italy and Roma, his sister who is super close with also lives there with him. Would be a great signing though! Amoyal reported 2 weeks ago of our interest in him, but he said he loves where he is.Manchester United want to sign Radja Nainggolan this summer
