Yup, I was super scared of this Ajax team at first, but after the first 5 min I could tell it was just another LVG style team, absolutely clueless in the last 3rd
 
Dissapointing season turned into a great season. Hype. Time for Griezmann

Will say though, Ajax were pretty lackluster during the match. Might have been the inexperience in their young team, or our defence being rock solid, probably a mixture of both, but they didn't look that threatening. They couldn't do much in the final third apart from a good run by Traore and one or two dangerous crosses. But on the other hand, we also were kind of bad in the final third. Their defence did a good job but our attack was still looking rather weak. Rashford still needs time to be the leading man but hopefully it wont be long till he's more than capable.
 
Said well before the game this Ajax side don't deal with pressure/ big occasions. Was pretty much a re run of the Lyon game second leg. But Mourinho tactics were spot on!
 
Went to sleep after the first half because there was no way in **** you are losing this, so congratulations!

Also, if you will get Griezmann, what happens to Martial? I reckon he won't be to happy about it.
 
Brilliant. Two trophies and CL again. Buzzing! We need to step up recruitment now, and next season everyone at the club needs to to raise their levels. We can be better. We must be better. Onwards and upwards Manchester.

Griezmann is probably going to play behind Rashford a lot. There's going to be more competition. Martial needs to wake from his slumber. Hopefully a faster style of play next season will do that.

Going to be another big summer for United now, which players will be on their way out?
 
What a great finish to the season.
Can't wait to see who we bring in/dump over the summer.

United are playing here in August, so I'll get to see them just before my baby is born.
 
Not sure there will be a huge amount of turnover. Expect 4 players to come in unless DDG leaves. But I think even him leaving has receded now.

Madrid don't need De Gea, their keeper is perfectly good as it is, and they just won the league and could win champions league but you know what they are like, little they do makes sense when it comes to big name players

Yesh agree. 4 in maybe 5 depending on who goes and if Carrick and Zlatan don't extend. Think DDG might stay now. Really was a huge game for numerous reasons. Buzzing!!

The scheduling of that is ridiculous given we've a game the day before the Aviva against Bilbao. (Not officially announced yet but it'll be a surprise if we pull out.).

At least the Ferryman's completely booked up the Friday/ Sat'day so that's any and all knobheads the centre swerved.

Would keep Young. Sell Smalling as well as Wilson, Varela. All depends if Carrick and Zlatan take the offer from the clubs if they leave, I'm sure they will get one. Wouldn't sell to many tbh. Players like Young, Darmian are good enough for a various positions and to play in cup games so we can challenge on all fronts again next season without it hindering our league form.
 
We'll only be stronger next season! More rest time between CL and PL games usually in comparison to EL. Schedule generally will be less intense because of this and will give us more chance in the league.

Back in the CL now where we belong and we'll invest in quality this summer to only make us better.
 
Oh and should add that every team won't have an easy ride in terms of schedule like Chelsea/Liverpool did, so we'll have a greater chance in the league for sure. Really fancy us next season if we invest right this summer.
