yeah sorry i thought mike meant rose/mendy are not gettable but i misread it.would be happy with either tbh but id love shaw to come back fighting

Shaw will get another season. But he's not proved enough over 3 seasons, some his fault some not for various reasons. That we can't rely on him to be first choice. If LB options are unattainable for some reason or another we will be fine with Shaw, Darmian, Blind, CBJ, Mitchell, Rojo

Pogba showing us exactly why we should NEVER have considered Dier. He's running the game. Poor Dier & Ox don't know what year it is

but we are gonna need someone to play the dier role,if hes struggling against pogba it suggests hes not for us.just not good enough
 
Only player from this England team I'd like to see at United is Kane. Rest is so mediocre.

His role is irrelevant? The fact is, there's levels between him & Pogba, which is being more than demonstrated out there tonight. He's making a joke of him. Our summer should be to try and narrow the gaps of quality between Pogba and his fellow midfield teammates, not widen it. Fabinho is the ideal option. Would even take Matic before Dier
 
Whatever Dier is supposed to be doing, he's everywhere but. Awful positioning.
 
He'd be fine in front of your back four with Martial / Herrera / Pogba / Myk in front of him, all he has to do is tackle and layoff.

You have far more quality to allow him to layoff and not have to win it back again in 2 mins, as you can keep a ball. England cant. There are better options but for a minimal market fee, and HG player in the squad/team for a decade to go. He'd be fine (not brilliant but a necessity in squad building nowadays).
 
Or, we could sign Fabinho, who can do all of that, at a higher level, and more :D At not a whole pile more expensive (given Levy's stubborn, maybe not even at all)

i dont mind Dier, don't get me wrong he's a backup DMC for a Man U team. Fabinho is far better quality for first XI/CLmatches.

But how many times is Dier gonna play for Man U against a team of Frances quality level and he's in a Mourinho drilled defensive system there, not a Southgate one. I think he'd be fine in most games of the MUFC season. Sell Fellani, buy both.
 
Fabinho would probably be cheaper, as would Matic. Both are better and offer more.

Didnt know Matic was an option, did Chelsea land Bakayoko officially yet? (i think i missed it).
 
Can't see us going for Dier anyway and dealing with Levy till the last mins of the window and getting fleeced. Matic or Fabinho for me.
