Yes Rashford. Thats the whole point. If we're fighting on all fronts next season you need plenty of options, I wouldn't say we're stacked in any other than no.10's.
If Morata comes in who is the backup to him if he gets injured? Rashford? Then that means you have one less option to use on the flanks. It seems like we have a lot but in reality, they are a versatile bunch but if one or two get injured, you start seeing square pegs in round holes again for me. Which is part of the problem in itself. I don't like seeing players shifting into so many different positions, we need consistency.
Really looking forward to seeing Bailly and Lindelöf play together next season! Perfectly compliment each other.CB, DM, ST are mandatory
A full back is a bonus.
Pick up a wide player if one is available of the right price/quality
Yeah tbh we do have the likes of Joel, Tuanzebe, CBJ, Mitchell, TFM, Wilson who can all step up in the event of any major injuries. Don't expect anymore than 4-5 in.Jose never runs more than 23/24 anyway, including when in 4 competitions. In each band, we have at least one high quality youngster who can be drafted in during an injury crisis.
We can't make Rooney do anything unless we termite his contract. Or an offer comes in that suits all parties. If we cover 4 positions this window that's perfectly fine, it's just if we don't we'll see shortcomings like last season. Morata hasn't even happening yet, so it's just Lindelof so far. But even if we get the striker and CB, we need more.
I'm genuinely confused why Rooney is still here... he's just eating the wage and nothing else. Surely someone at the club must have the bottle to tell him that this summer he has to move on. None of this, well you can stay another season rubbish, he's a liability for us now.

Few weeks ago he said he had lot of offers... what exactly has changed?
Do you think he is willing to take a wage cut? That is probably the thing holding back interested parties.

Probably not, but in my eyes he has no respect for his time at United if he doesn't move on this summer. After what we saw last season, there is literally nothing left for him here. He has nothing, he almost looked embarrassing at times, he's just tarnishing himself now.
Everything is eerily quiet at the moment with United, on transfer front, in and out. I'm sure it was by now Matic should of been signed and had his medical within 48 hours. I don't think anyone truly knows much, which is slightly promising.
Yeah and Conte also getting Naingollan. So Di marzio is reporting that inter have raised the money and don't HAVE to sell perisic.Last time I heard, Matic was hinged on Bakayoko moving
