Lets be honest, most rival fans will play this down and clutch at everything they can to mock this deal. Lukaku has his flaws, but they can be ironed out.

However just to back up what you were saying about him bringing others into the game and him creating chances for others: -

Lukaku has registered more assists (27) than any other striker in the Premier League in the last five seasons

Very beneficial deal for United. A lot of wages off the books now with Zlatan and Rooney. I'm happy with this deal. Still have my doubts a bit over Lukaku, but nothing Mourinho shouldn't be able to fix.

I was about to add to my post that if Rooney is an asset is another matter, but decided to leave it out. Still Everton consider him an asset if they do end up signing him.

I also think this deal is great for United. At first I thought Rooney to Everton must be a loan deal where Everton pay only part of his wages, but now if it goes through United will all of his wages to be spend elsewhere.

Been good when used in his proper position on the left. Good for Switzerland too.

He will be back in form soon, I have high hopes!

Other than Matic and Lukaku talk, are there any others in the frame? Not hearing much of Perisic now

Yeah agree he will be back after being played in his natural possition for a consistent run. No idea mate on who we are targeting lol. Hope it's a DM a goal scoring winger/AM and a FB.
