Only half watching on my phone without sound so can't say for sure. He's a defender though right? If so they have been very solid at the back and atletico are incapable of breaking them down to even make a decent chance

I was only half watching the pub prior to our game but the kid looks a natural huh?

Yeah, he had a shocking miss the free header he should have buried like but the way he was pulling away the area and finding space his compadres just failed to find him with on a few occasions just screamed natural goalscorer.

Excellent outing for a second PL game from the young man that just lacked the goals he'd of gotten and what will come with experience.

Solanke and Abraham. When you have no strikers. Utterly mad. Conte is as much to blame for the state of Chelsea's squad as anyone above him the recruitment side.

majority of my family are blues and i told them youve let too many players go.totally agree theyve shafted themselves getting rid of abraham,solanke,loftus-cheek,chalobah and of course matic which is absurd imo,not that im complaining
 
Man Utd have played without Fellaini on the pitch for 90 minutes and scored 3 goals

In the 30 minutes Fellaini has been on 5 goals, clearly he should be playing far more there is no other explanation
 
Andreas Pereira is close to completing a loan move to Valencia. [@SERDepValencia]

Sad to see if this is true, but the squad is big now and there isn't really a spot for him unless someone leaves?

Some of the players are getting old tho, Carrick, Mata, Mkhitaryan, Fellaini. So if he can hold out for a year or 2 I'm sure he can become vital!

Not all that surprised as he's behind 3-4 players in CM, and he's too good/at an important 'you need to push on' stage in his career to not to play regular football. Would've liked to have seen him go on loan to a PL team though. But be good to see him with better teammates than at Granada.

Only thing is he's the closest profile to Pogba out of all our CM options, and could've replaced what he brings to a certain degree when Paul's injured/suspended/needs a rest.

If true need to get him tied down to a new contract first or else he can leave for free next Summer :(
 
Disappointed if Pereira leaves again on loan... shown how good he is last season... we don't need him to show it again. If we must send him out on loan.. at least make it the PL.

Plus think we could really use him this season, Pogba getss injured the replacement is? Herrera? He's a lot of things but think we lack creativity with him.

Think Pereira would make a good alternative option in the no.10 position as well.

As settled as our team seems to be right now, I still think we're only one or two key injuries away from it looking a lot different, like last season. Whilst we have a big squad, I don't think it's like for like in quality.
 
He needs to play but he's the best back up to Pogba and Herrera. That said, Herrera hasn't started yet, and he's gonna be benched for Pogba when we play this formation. Unless of course the bollocks turns out to be true and we do sign Lemar. Then it makes sense

Spanish Radio this Morning-Am told that there is strong interest from Valencia for Andreas Pereira, but José Mourinho does not want to loan him for now.

Tbh, with our attacking band of players I think we could do with adding another, not losing one.

When the games start to come flooding in everyone should get plenty of opportunities.

I would have said yeah. But with Zlatan and a Young coming back that's 2 more right there. On top of Lukaku, Rashford, Martial, Lingard, Mky, Mata, Periera. Plus Shaw being back now will give Mourinho that option at WB to switch to.

Well, as there is no chance Mou benches Lukaku, the only way to fit him in is to bench Mata and move Mkhy out to the right and play Zlatan as CAM.
