The Manchester United Thread

Tierney might be one more for next season, depending on how he does this season and how Shaw does.

Replacing Shaw with an even more raw Shaw?

If Tierney has a good season and Shaw doesn't, why not? Can't wait for Shaw forever. I've already said you give him this one to see whether he's going to cut it again or not.

Unchanged barring Martial for Rashford. Happy with this.

Think this will be our hardest game so far, they will defo offer more going forward than Swansea and West Ham.

Still looking at that bench thinking we're lacking a bit of quality, sure we have Rashford but apart from that no real game-changer. Unless I class Fellaini as well! :P

Rashford is a game-changer. His pace kills players at the start of matches, let alone coming on against knackered defenders. Lingard no slouch either.

Would hope to think we won't need a game-changer, but if so, we've definitely got pace on the bench to add something. Fellaini can change games too, as hard as it is to admit.

Did say Rashford, but yes hopefully won't be needed today, I'm thinking more going forward though through the season.

I just really think we could do with that one final piece of the jigsaw, being a winger before the window shuts.

We're only really a few key injuries away from looking a lot like last season again.

I personally think we've got a great variety of options in the attacking 3rd. A few injuries could change that, yes, but that can be said for every team in world football. That's a reason we resigned Zlatan.

I'm not sure why we're changing the lineup after winning 4-0 two times in a row, don't fix if it's not broken right?

Still think we'll win and hope Martial can start where he ended last 2 games!

We didn't change the line-up tbf. Same shape, same players, just Martial gets the majority of this game instead of Rashford, we'll be seeing him a little bit later on. It's like asking if you want your glass of wine before dinner or during.

Anyway, good half from the boys. Good to see the FB's pushed very high today, especially Blind - although I wish their crossing was better. Martial & Pogba have looked very lively. Lukaku leading the line well.

Same again lads the rewards will come.

Michael Oliver is hopeless.

Never a penalty to start with.

Then it should have been retaken given how far the 'keepers moved off his line before it's taken.

Which is on top of everything else he's either got wrong or missed all game.

Harry Maguire is an excellent defender. Would take him at Chelsea in an instant.

Told ya mate, game-changers :P

Holy ****, what an intelligent run by Lingard to start that 2nd goal, hats off.

Not a pen, but Mata's goal was legit

My favourite victory so far. Why? Because this was the exact profile of game we continuously slipped up in last season. Dominating at Old Trafford against a side that will work their socks off, smother space between the lines, and try hit you on the break. We found a way, extremely satisfying.

Early days granted, but so far, our biggest issue last season (finding a way to break through hard working deep blocks) hasn't stopped us.

3 games. 10 goals. 3 clean sheets. Couldn't ask for much more!

Get the f*** in there.

I'm looking forward to a bigger team to come against, very happy so far but I will try to stop getting too excited before we play City/Chelsea/Arsenal etc..

Looking great so far, very happy.

True, but our problem last season was beating the smaller sides, no offence Leicester... as you were title champions like two season ago!

But the results against top 6 aren't so important for a winning campaign, Liverpool had a great record last season against top 6 and still finished 4th.
