The Manchester United Thread

Januzaj confirmed in an interview yesterday Utd have redemption clause. Whatever that means. Said he would be happy to come back to Old Trafford.

Sadly I don't think he'll ever make it back, he's a great talent but still a long way off when it comes to overall game.

Depending on the cost of the clause could see us buying him back and then just selling him right away to make some money but he would have to improve for that to be an option.

Had a good season just gone. Maybe a late bloomer like Lingard. Wouldn’t mind him back for good price.

Another good game from Lindelöf. Started the move for the goal. Never put a foot wrong again and good with the ball. Made BBC team of the group stages.

Officially gone. About time. Good keeper but needed to leave. Getting 10m in total is a great deal as well.

Sam Johnstone has signed a four-year deal at The Hawthorns...#WBA https://www.wba.co.uk/news/

Also Tosin Kehinde held talks today with Notts Forest about a move away.

He's been good, wonder if it's because it's at a slower pace than PL majority of the time or there is proper leader beside him in Granqvist. Probably a bit of both.

Bit of both I guess. Plus most likely struggled to settle hence not getting a good run of games and chance to build form/confidence. Mourinho did say he expected him to start slow like most defenders he’s bought from Portugal to other leagues.

Listening to one of Amoyals pod casts saying we have been in talks with Sandro from Juve. And baldy now saying personal terms agreed. Be a great signing!

U18s CM James Garner been told he’s going on tour with the first team to the USA. Confirmed by his farther. Also Greenwood could be going also :)

Just seen that Nico Gonzalez is close to joining Utd. Was going to go to City last season after being Scouted by Dave Harrison. Before we poached him from them. He’s over there now apparently to help finalise the deal. CM also son of Spanish international Juan Fran also was a coach under Pep last season, but no longer is. Will be compensation fee. And Barca have just removed him from there youth squad for next season.

Swedish system. Ala Keane and co at Burnley, hard to look out of place with everyone around tuned the same way.

Luke Shaw spent the last two weeks training with Gary Walker, United's head of strength and conditioning, at the Nad Al Sheba Complex in Dubai. Under the advice of Mourinho. Temperatures of up to 45C out there. Due back at Carrington for start of pre-season on Monday #mufc

Also Andreas Pereira did an interview yesterday in Belgium saying that there is no problem with him and Mourinho and he’s not expecting to be sold. And that Mourinho has told him he will get a chance to prove himself this season.

Wouldn't mind Pereira taking Martial's spot if he leaves.. He shows the right attitude at least!

Good thing about Periera he’s obviously very talented but very adaptable to play anywhere in CM or behind the STR. Don’t think Martial is leaving tbh.
