The Mercenary Challenge: Becoming the richest manager in world football. A re-do.

We had games against Greece and Australia and we lost against them both. We have had a steady start to the World Cup qualifiers.

We played World Cup qualifying games against Palestine and Myanmar. And we won both of them. The World Cup qualifying campaign is going well.

We have a few injuries to deal with. January has arrived and it is time to apply for new jobs so we did just that and we also have a couple of interviews.

I received some job offers and I declined them all because of the wages on offer. Our spell as Qatar manager is a success so far, since I did not have such a good win percentage with a relatively smaller football nation. And as far as clubs are concerned it is obviously when I was in charge of Hartlepool and won the FA trophy.

I have been offered a number of jobs but I declined them all. I am still applying for jobs until the end of January. If I don't get any I will continue on as Qatar manager at least until June.

We have a lot of injuries which have happened. And we also have got the Qatar squad ready for the World Cup qualifying games.

We played a qualifying game against Pakistan and a friendly against Serbia. We won the World Cup qualifying game against Pakistan and lost the friendly against Serbia.

It is that time of the year again, the start of July. It is them three at the top again. Antonio Conte at Inter earning 300k pounds per week, Jurgen Klopp at Real Madrid earning 175k pounds per week and Brendan Rodgers at Liverpool earning 160k pounds per week. Under Conte last season, Inter finished 3rd in Serie A, got knocked out in the Champions League quarter finals against Atletico Madrid, got knocked out in the Italian Cup semi final against Napoli. Under Klopp last season, Real Madrid finished 3rd in La Liga, got knocked out in the Champions League first knockout round against Arsenal, got knocked out in the Spanish Cup fifth round against Levante and got knocked out in the Spanish Super Cup semi final against Barcelona. Under Rodgers last season, Liverpool won the Premier League, they won the Community Shield against Chelsea, got knocked out in the Carabao Cup fourth round against Blackburn, got knocked out of the Champions League first knockout against Atletico Madrid and got knocked out in the FA Cup quarter final against Leeds.

After 17 months as Qatar manager and a 57% win rate as the Qatar manager, Spain have hired me as their manager. I am now earning 58k pounds per week. My first truly big job at any level, unless Colombia and Nigeria also count. But Spain is a whole different level. Here is what the squad looks like.

We have played our first few games as Spain manager and it has been a bright start. Managing a team of this quality is both a blessing and a curse as I am on a knife edge when it comes to management. If it goes well and if I win a major trophy for example then my managerial reputation will increase and on the other hand if it goes badly then I don't know what next.

Here is how the games went in the Nations League group stages, we came in 2nd place in the group and Belgium qualified for the latter stages. But we did our best so I can't complain.

It is that time of the year again, it is the January transfer window and I have been looking for new jobs. Also there has been a case where a player has reaffirmed his commitment to represent Spain on the national stage, also the Ivory Coast Under 20's job was offered to me but I have declined it. Also the World Cup qualifying group stage has been drawn, it is a good group that we hope to progress from.

So I have been offered a few jobs but declined it because of wages, also a player called Carlos Atilano has chosen to represent Spain over Mexico so I am delighted about that.

We played our first couple of World Cup qualifying games with Spain against Malta and Albania, we won both games but the performances have not been convincing enough, either way I will take the wins and 3 points is 3 points.
