In this Auction Game I am looking for 14 people to join. I want to make this game have more of a story feel to it, so it is set in a new nation named Noland!
The N-League has been set up in Noland, under the premise that every club would be funded by a billionaire. I will create a map and situate people in different areas, to create rivalries in-game. Each team will start with £900,000,000 to spend. With this money you will decide the capacity of your stadium, your facilities and, of course, the players!
This will be presented slightly differently to other Auction Games as I will add news snippets and other extras so don't sign up if you are not a fan of this style. There will be 10 rounds in which to sign players and managers, and there will also be one-off big name players that I will hold live auctions for in the thread from time-to-time. After the 10 rounds, any left over cash can be spent on improving your teams 100 seater stadium and 1 star youth and training facilities. Remember £900,000,000 is a big number so don't be afraid to bid high! Then transfers can be made between teams every January and August, and players can be sold to a club outside of the league at 50% of the price you paid. Every player must aim for 22 players. Every player under or over this limit, means £50million reducted from your budget every month during the season. A player that is in debt at the start of a season will have his top players given to other clubs to balance the books, so stay in the black. Money made from gate receipts etc. during the season will be calculated and the clubs who earn the most will be given bonuses. There will also be bonuses for league positions.
To start with I just want your team name, nickname, and home and away colours. Also, to add to the map I will get for this, tell me the town/city your club is situated in and a bit about it, eg. is it a seaside town, a rural village, an island, the capital city of the country? Don't be afraid to copy others as inter-city rivalries can draw in big crowds!
