games in hand count for nothing, just look at forest. They had 2 games in hand and looked in great form and are now struggling slightly. It's all very close but teams seem to be coming into form and going out of form quickly or the other way round (Leeds, Forest, Leicester). The only thing for sure is that its very tight at the top and its going to be a very exciting end to the season
He isn't playing the games, is he? Our players bottled it. Came off a good run and now everything seems to be impossible. He isnt a bottler, he managed to get Derby into the premiership didn't he? So I think he can do it for us.
Granted you should win those two games in hand, but you never know whos gonna turn up in the Championship, do you?

I'm not blaming Davies for our players bottle. The players play the games, and they also lose them. Hes took us on some formidable unbeaten runs. Its all gone up the ******* recently but I'm confident we can pull it back.
Swindon's offside trap was a failure. Bit early to say that, but if Swindon play like that until May they'll be having a Local Derby with Torquay next season..

how can people want to take over clubs like Watford (no offence intended) but then not want to take over/invest in the huge clubs in this league like Leeds or Forest. Oh well good luck to Watford, hopefully their potential new owner won't be an idiot
Don't think Doughty would want to sell us to be honest mate, he's got quite a rich company and has been a chairman of Umbro so he's bound to have some spare change knocking about that he could invest into our club. He isn't reluctant to do so either, looking at the money we've spent on players in the past couple of years, such as Earnshaw when we just got promoted back to the Championship.
Watford should do well with this takeover, hopefully exciting things are gonna happen for them.

I wanted 6 points from our next 2 games before the huge game against Forest but unfortunatley Ipswich had other ideas. It's very rare we keep an clean sheet but even rarer we don't score in a game, especially at home. At least Swansea and Burnley lost and Forest drew, although would have been nice to close gap on Swansea and overtake Norwich and Cardiff, if only probably temporarily. Even more must win game against Sheff U (Leeds rejects) next week
