Congrats Brighton, United are all but down and we are picking up form :)

I feel a bit sorry for the rovers fans, we did not deserve to win the game but somehow we did. Imo if rovers play like that for their remaning games then they should deffo stay up.

This just totally hurts- We didn't deserve to lose here, we don't deserve to be a League 2 side. Dagenham might, Walsall might, Bristol Rovers & Swindon might, but we certaintly don't. They haven't been payed in 3 months but every single week those boys make me proud, they put in the performances of their lives, the passion and commitment it just blows me away- Even though most of them, won't be here next season.

You know when your down because everything goes against you- Double standards from todays ref, Rory Fallon was down in the box when Peterborough equalised, everytime someone from an opposing team goes down and were attacking the ball has go out of play- Its disgraceful. Its double standards, every single time against us.

I felt like crying when we missed that last minute penalty, because that hurt. That was the lowest moment- We don't deserve the nPower League 2 tag, but if we play like that next season, we'll be back..

PAFC Till' I die  :'(

Not saying this because I'm a Gashead. But I completely disagree, Rovers are a club who have been through so much **** in the past, it's quite frankly a miracle that I am able to go and watch them play football in Bristol. We had to move to Bath to play our games, our home games were further away than an "away game" at Ashton Gate. Rovers have been continuously looked over by an incompetent council who probably see the football club as an inconvenience. Some of our directors are all too quick to jump ship when the going gets tough, Barry Bradshaw left Rovers when we nearly went bust, but he was all to quick to jump back on board when Rovers were back on track. Whenever Rovers are down, we always fight back with everything we've got to get back to where we deserve to be. We've survived 3 fires to 2 stadiums, lost our spiritual stadium due to crippling debt, renting a stadium from a Rugby club and nearly dropping out of the football league. As I said, it's a ******* miracle I can sing Goodnight Irene, week in, week out.

UTG!

We are going up say we are going up!

I hope you do. After the first game of the season when you destroyed us (but we won :D) I thought you might nick a playoff place but now I think your going to take the automatic place.

Crystal Palace 1 - 2 Scunthorpe United :D
What a result. Losing yesterday would have been us pretty much down but we did what we had to do and we still have a decent chance of staying up. Joe Garner is going to be a miss against Coventry after his red card though.

See, 1 nil and it was a late goal! Nearly!

We were unlucky, we certainly didn't disgrace ourselves!

Our remaining fixtures are Charlton, Bournemouth (away), Sheffield Wednesday, Colchester (away)
I can see 3 wins out of that, and imo, 3 wins will be enough!

The Plymouth Herald is making a complaint to the FA over Saturdays Referee, Nigel Miller. Peterborough's first goal was allowed to stand, despite Rory Fallon being down in the box with a head injury- Where the law states, play must be stopped and Fallon should of recieved treatment.

Its an absolute disgrace the amount of poor decisions that go against us- I bet its the FA wanting to get us out of League One because of our dire financial situation. Its about time we made a stand, and I hope Mr Miller spends the rest of the season in the Blue Square- Especially seeing as he can't explain his decision or say sorry for putting the final nail in our coffin! :@

Did anyone see the Plymouth players goal celebration? Absolutely superb! XD

Charlton, Bournemouth and Colchester ?

Charlton, Bournemouth and Colchester ?

Charlton-Win-They have nothing to play for, we do
Bournemouth-Draw/Loss-Playoff chasers, imo it could go either way
Sheff Wed-Win-Same as Charlton
Colchester-Win-Same as Charlton/Sheff Wed. Ex-Rovers manager, will be very surprised if he played a full strength side!

Colchester were pants v us so you may win them, same as Charlton and i think you could pick up a win at Bournemouth and we do have something to play for. We are still nit mathematically safer from relegation :(

Robbie Savage put in a solis performance against Taarabt, marking him and nullifying his creativity, skill and talent to a minimum that he failed to find that freedom he usually has in the pocket behind the striker - to whom as Helgusson tonight. Not sure about his reaction though, it seemed very childish and un-needed. Thankfully, he shook Savage's hand, which showed some element of sportsmanship.

Now it's QPR's to lose - or I am guessing it has been for some time. Eight points, five games, it is all still to play for.

QPR 0-0 Derby

An ok game, extremely frustrating, Savage got soooooo much stick and the Referee was so bad.

Things I learnt:

Savage is a ******

The referee is also a ******

Derby fans are *****

Derby are *****

Lakshmi Mittal has promised fresh investment in Queens Park Rangers should they win promotion back to the Premier League.

Britain's richest man, whose wealth is estimated at £24billion, was not at Loftus Road for last night's 0-0 draw with Derby. The result means Neil Warnock's team need to win at Cardiff on Saturday to guarantee a return to the top flight for the first time since 1996.

In a rare interview, Mittal said he was sure the west London club were now ready for a return to the big time.

"There is still much we need to improve," he told Standard Sport. "The defence, for example. To stay up we will also need a good goalscorer. But it is very different to a year ago. Then, if you had asked me, I would have said QPR should not go into the Premier League. But now we are ready."

Mittal has been cautious with his level of spending since becoming involved with Rangers three years ago. The £3.5million signing of Alejandro Faurlin is by far the largest transfer since the Indian bought a 20 per cent stake in December 2007.

That deal is now the subject of an investigation after QPR were charged with seven breaches of Football Association regulations on third-party rules with a verdict expected the day before the last game of the season.

When asked if there will be money to spend next season, Mittal said: "I think so because it is a big responsibility. You have to live up to the Premier League. But there are some clubs who like to have a big budget. There are other clubs who can do a job with limited budgets but higher productivity."

This does not suggest a Roman Abramovich-style spree but football has always been entertainment, not business for Mittal.

On coming to London, the club he first followed was Chelsea. The Mittals had a box there but he is not like Abramovich. "I know Roman because he is also in the steel business," he said. "For him Chelsea is his passion. I am a fan of QPR but I will not have that kind of passion. I am passionate about my business."

Although the Mittals own a third of QPR - the rest is held by Bernie Ecclestone - it is his son-in-law Amit Bhatia who runs the club. Mittal said: "Nobody recognises me. I keep Amit in front. QPR going into the Premier League is a very exciting moment for us as a family."

As passive investors, the family held a 20 per cent stake but they came close to walking away 14 months ago when Flavio Briatore's problems with Formula One forced him to step down.

Mittal, 60, added: "When Flavio stepped down, the club were orphaned but Amit took up this challenge."

What has particularly pleased Mittal is Bhatia's recruitment of Warnock from Crystal Palace. He added: "He is a great guy and I hope he continues to lead QPR after we win promotion." Evening Standard

Sorry about the long post but didn't want to start a thread, i'm really happy about this as it means he does notice the club as he never normally says anything about us thanks Lakshmi <3

Full respect to our players today- They were due 15% of their wages, however they passed on that money to the staff of PAFC- Absoutly fantastic lads, you are truly legends im my eyes.

I hope they make a documentary about this club- It breaks every persons mind-thought about footballers being overpayed and greedy and fans just being moany and whiny gits, with no real life.

League 2, 1 or the Carlsberg Southwest Peninsula League- Your my club for life, and my players to respect

Read about the wages thing at Plymouth, was nice to hear about good side of footballers, remember when we went up with you to the Championship, that was a good season :)

Well, the great escape is well and truly still alive! Fantastic Win today, we really dug in deep and come away with a fantastic result- If we had lost, we will have been 11 points behind Dagenham, but now just 5 behind and with a game in hand.

The law of averages suggested Rory Patterson was going to score a FK sometime soon, but who would of thought one, this important? All the focus on the home match on Monday now, I can see teams around us [Walsall, Rovers, Swindon] Getting a little bit scared of the force from behind them (A)

Sigh. Glad there is not many Huddersfield fans on this thread, there is bragging rights after today's game, we had twice as many chances as them but could only convert one, high five to Plymouth today, hope they stay up.
