Slightly unrelated but I think Rice is actually a really good player, I'd love him as the long-term Matic replacement, if we ignored the money which would be high price obviously. Totally bossed that Wolves midfield yesterday not easy to do and done some great bits of play on the ball, easy to forget he's only 21 as well.

Agree with that.

I don't get the hype with him at all? (Well, aside from him being young and English and England being so bereft of top-level quality at National team level.). Just a hardworking, bang average player to me who are ten a penny. More athlete than technical player.

Don't personally think he's CL quality at all. Shrugs.
