Superb this from Mel Reddy on Infantino's despicable speech earlier-

I mean she's probably been beheaded already for speaking out and telling it like it is on this absolute disgrace about to start tomorrow in the desert. But the more reputable journo's that speak out and don't hold back in the VERY warranted criticism/ condemnation of this absolute sham the better.

Can't take any of this World Cup moral outrage seriously when the media didn't give a **** about 6000 dead workers, but banning beer stands and some mean comments about gay people is where they decided to draw the line and call for a boycott.

So where shall there be WC posting be done? keep it here or already special thread? Need to make fun of some teams for sure.

summarize:
  • No AC
  • No clean water
  • No security (let's face it, a tiny padlock isn't going to stop someone from knifing the tarp and stealing ****)
  • No amenities
  • Uneven floor
  • **** beds
  • Sweltering heat
  • Lack of space

Just reading some news and found out that this guy is only 18 months older than me
He must live on processed food and smokes!! He looks like he's in his 60's.

Haha yeah I don't know who's more pathetic, FIFA or the captains. Happy to run their mouth about human rights when it gets them easy PR points, but the one time it would take some balls they are quick to bend over.

Compare that to Russia situation in the qualifiers where Swedes, Czechs and us refused to play entirely and UEFA was forced to do the right thing.

Is rite r Big Polish mate.

The FA and the players, not least the captain, are as complicit and as big a set of gobshites as FIFA. All makes an even bigger mockery of the ‘support’ for the Rainbow campaign. (Which is just a minimal token gesture to start with.).

We stand together with you ….. Until theres a threat of losing a player than you’re on your own LGBT+ folks!’

Again, NO WAY FIFA would have taken the backlash of sanctioning all 7 captains. And if they had, then the message would have been clear to FIFA’s disgrace. If they were to card players for the armband, then that would hammer home the exact point of why they SHOULD be wearing the armband.

That Tory **** Kane has no moral fibre like the FA. Along with all the other Countries and players who’ve **** out of doing the right thing and sending a really powerful message of support to the oppressed in Qatar.

Deserved beating, Argentines were acting like they've already won the tournament before even stepping on the pitch.
