NEW: Manchester United and other top clubs will strongly oppose moves to introduce the first hard salary cap to the Premier League when new cost controls are raised at the top flight’s annual meeting.

Yet again today **** poor officiating deciding this league. No love for Tottenham, who benefited from a historically P poor day of officiating earlier in the season that alters everything, but thats a stonewall peno in the lead up to Arsenals 2nd. Game changer.

No credibility PL at all.

The Ev will have about 12 weeks shelf life at this rate.

Bigger cheats than City these *****.

I'm just waiting for them to claim they weren't read their rights when they were interviewed!

I was thinking on Tottenham, as we play them tomorrow, and the managers at both NL clubs-

Ange is a funny one. On the one hand, some of the football Tottenham have played this year has been sensational to watch. And achieving European football has to be seen as a big development step forward in year one. But you wonder if it will ever be anymore than that as theres no manager that plays more open than him. It was the same at Celtic. He has one way of playing and won’t deviate from that.

Not sure where I’d stand as a ‘Spurs supporter …… I wouldn’t want him gone as they’ve had entertainment they’ve not had in a long time. Which is why you go the game and make the sacrifices you do. To be entertained for the scandalous money you pay. But I would be questioning how much better that progress will get if he doesn’t start tweaking things?

But then if City win the league as I still fully expect, where does that leave Arsenal fans on Arteta? Big progress no question. But that will be 4 and a half seasons, with just one FA Cup and one serious title challenge, to show for a whopping £600 Million spend

Not sure how many managers would survive into a 6th season, after spending all that, for so little return, if they don’t win the league? 🤷🏼‍♂️
