It's a very worrying situation when one club can dominate the transfer window like Manchester City have done. Not only have they spent nearly as much as the rest of the premiership combined but also more than all bar one league in Europe! Clearly City are either getting the money spent now before they get hammered or they know they have have wriggled out of things again.

There needs to be coordinated, Nationwide walkouts/ protests next season.
To be fair after factoring in inflation and CIty's move into the Eithiad (in 2001-2002 City were still playing at Maine Road) prices for for comparable season tickets to the one shown have only really increased by an average of £40, season ticket prices aren't the problem generally it is the one off ticket price increase which is by far more worrying especially when you consider the average price adult tickets in 2001-02 in the Premiership was £27.50 compared to £83 for last season. As clubs make more profits from individual match ticket sales it is highly unlikely they will be willing to increase the number of season ticket as it doesn't make sense financially. Football is no longer a working man's game both at player level and fan level and no amount of complaining will change the clubs views sadly.
