Raymonde take's Chile to the Semi's.
Stand in Chile Manager Stan Raymonde, today made Chileans proud by taking them to the Semi Final's of the World Cup trophy. With an arguably pretty easy run, Raymonde did nothing to talk himself up and continued his ways of gelling and getting the best out of teams as a whole. No individuals stood out, yet the team all worked well together.
Unfortunately Chile were outclassed by Italy after an entertaining match and a scoreline of 5-2 which somewhat flattered Italy. Raymonde immediately stood down as Chile manager after the game and said he had enjoyed working with the players but wanted to concentrate on Pumas and hand Chile back to a recovering Bielsa.

The new Serie A season is fast approaching and whilst Pumas have been busy in the market, we took time out to talk to Stan Raymonde.
AC: "Stan! New season and I am glad to be back in this seat alongside you. So are you pleased with your business in the market as of today?"
SR: "Very pleased, I have bought in no Prima Donnas and some very talented youngsters who I hope to nourish into fine fine players for this club."
AC: "So, surely with all the additions, everyone is expecting you to repeat last years feats? How hard is that?"
SR: "My boss, the chairman, has set me the target of doing ourselves proud in the Champions League and showing the world what Mexican footballs about, and has said that any finish inside the top half will be another success. So those who assume we will just keep on winning are optimistic, looking at the strength of the other sides in this league. Don't get me wrong I would not put anything past this set of players but people cannot call it a foregone conclusion. I have a bigger squad to chose from which well hopefully be a positive but I have experienced before that too many players in a squad can cause disharmony and selection problems."
Raymonde also stated that all business in the transfer market had been done and that nothing else would be coming in or leaving.
