You put a colour overlay over the base layer.

Yeah i know but i only want to change a part of the kit.
I can only change the whole kits color :/

Then make a new layer above the base layer with a different colour on it or what ever. Thats what I did for this rovers kit if thats what you mean, to put the quaters in?
